I love this game! I played it when I was a kid, and I'm thankful that it's still available to play in its original form. I understand the aversion to in-app purchases, but I was able to get everything I needed with the $5 option. I'm perfectly happy to give them a little money for making a great ad-free game!Show lessemyboehl
Reunited and it feels so good
I’m so glad I found this game again! It was my favorite when I was a kid, I just wish I could catalog all of the plants I’ve grown. It would add a little more to game aside from just finding the magic 6Darlinggirl909
Terribly dissatisfied
I used to love playing this game on my computer back in the day. I was so excited to see that it was in the App Store about a year or so back. I ended up deleting the game as there was no way to progress. Fast forward to today, I re-loaded it back to my iPhone thinking they would of updated it. I was very disappointed to see that things haven’t changed.
Also seeing that all the reviews have been saying the same thing for 10+ years now and no change isn’t very good from a business point of view. I love their games. I grew up playing Virtual Villagers, Plant Tycoon and Fish Tycoon. So far this is the only one to sincerely disappoint my memory as I can’t play the game fully anymore. The nostalgia is gone. :(
The only way for me to change my review from a 1 star to a 5 star is to listen to your reviews and update how we can play this game as there is no possible way to move forward without paying quite of bit of money out of pocket. This game is fun but it’s not that fun.

I love this game. Minus the plant bucks. Really you only have to spend one dollar because need the good soil to get ahead and don't need the other stuff. Now a days you have to buy something to get further. But I get they have to make money too. Other then that I LOVE this game ❤️
My grandma loves it as well. I told her about it years ago and she was hooked!!!

Great game, but....
I love this game and I used to play the PC version a lot.
I just really wish they would change the whole plant bucks thing. There is no way to advance in the game without spending a lot of real life money. And you can only ever get some of the rare plants by buying rare seeds ( which cost plant bucks). At the very least there should be an option to earn plant bucks, by viewing ads for example. Or offer a paid version of the game.

It’s a fun game, but becomes overwhelming because there doesn’t seem to be a way to keep track of what you’ve done. If I just haven’t found that feature, let me know, but as it is, there’s no way to know which plants you’ve crossbred unless you make an excel spreadsheet. Hahaha. Okay so I have not gotten very far but from what I have read and seen this is a pretty crappy game. You have to pay to finish the game apparently? I don’t care much because my goal is not to finish the game it’s just to breed plants and see what I can find. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the dang nursery. When you are selling your plants you have to be in the nursery for sometimes 15-30 minutes and you can’t do anything in the nursery! It’s just sitting there making sure your phone stays on. I would not spend that kind of time waiting for one thing to happen for anything, deleting the game today.Show lessEvhgdchgggh
