Great app!
Works flawlessly. Better than Apple's Remote by a long shot, functionally. Interface is less than perfect, though, and sometimes a little clunky. Paid streaming for a 2-dollar app feels like a bit of a push.SohnoJam

Very stable BUT**
With the audio streaming add-on it's exactly what I've been looking for to stream FLAC's from my PC(foobar) in one room to my ATV3/HiFi in another. *BUT* it does not play gapless albums without adding buffering delays between tracks. So so frustrating! This is the one crucial flaw that TOTALLY RUINS it's functionality.
The only other minor issue I'd raise is when searching thru folders for tracks to enqueue there is no short cut button to get to the playback controls without hitting the back button repeatedly to return up the directory tree and crucially you lose your place, so you have to remember and find your way back again to continue where you left off. This sounds like a minor quibble but creating playlists tends to be an organic process that you do while listening. So you want to review the current list, skip or repeat a track, pause etc all while browsing thru one's collection for another track to add. So to have to find your way back to your last search spot gets unnecessarily laborious.
But can I stress the gapless playback issue makes the in-app purchase of the audio streaming function a waste of money at this point and has marred an otherwise very impressive stable app.Show lessGravityBlows

I moved my core sound system out of convenient range and was tired to change songs manually on Foobar. One day, I decided to address this walking issue and found this nice app. I'm surprised of what it does for only two bucks; you can even stream your iPhone's songs on Foobar. I may even get the upgrade (3$) for the iPad. Only request, if possible without compromising security, is to add support for a module that would locally browse files on the PC. I have been a long time linux music server user based on mpd or Logitech Media Server. My problem with mpd is that remote control apps on iOS are mediocre at best.
Recently I discovered that the *sound quality* of Windows Server Essentials 2012 surpasses all the other OS'es, when properly configured (yes, that is right). Long story short: I'm evaluating Windows Server 2012 with Foobar2000 and wasapi component as a replacement for 5 years of Linux sound.
After enabling firewall access for Foobar2000 and installing the required component, remote control works like an out of the box experience.
What makes me really, really excited is that this app is the first one I know supporting 'composer tags'. With a library of classical music, this is the first time I'm able to open the app and look for 'something Strauss', no other app offered me this feature.
