  • This is great

Such a great app. The only thing that would make it better would be saving directly to iCloud so that the database could be opened on any device and be up to date without having to export / Import but this is a small price to pay for how genuinely useful this is.

Thanks! My newer product, BandHelper, syncs automatically between your own and your bandmates' devices.
  • Worst setlist app evee

I am a professional musician and I bought this app because of the reviews. Don’t buy it!!
Difficult to use, with thousands of under categories! It will drive you crazy. I switched with another one called Setlist Helper
    Easy to use and reliable
  • Best App For Gigging Guitarist

I have used this app for many years, versatile and reliable. The app continues to be developed because the author cares about the app and the users.
  • Great app with extremely good and responsive support

I lead worship using an acoustic guitar or piano and utilize this app in either case, which allows me to keep my hands free to play. This app has many great features; almost too many to list in this review. But even for the basic use of displaying a set list made up of music scores or chord charts entered as PDF or Word documents and being able to turn pages hands free (I connect to my iPad with a dual foot switch via Bluetooth) or move from song to song with a single swipe on an iOS device, this app is worth it. The best part is that the developer will respond to your questions and in my experience, in a very timely fashion. Highly recommended! As suggested above, I am using it on my iPad.

  • Complicated to use

Probably just me but I find this app very complicated to use.
  • Amazing app works great with Boss GT-1000

Does everything I wanted, I can create set lists for the various bands I play with, it then calls up the list, lyrics and chords on my iPad/phone and automatically switches the GT-1000 to correct patch via midi/Bluetooth. Anything that can help make practicing and gigging easier with less mistakes is a 5/5 for me.

15 GBP for App plus Extra 5 for MIDI upgrade is good value for something with lots more features to try in future and works very well! I Posted a short demo video on GT-1000 Facebook group if you want to see it. Search Facebook #setlistmaker.

  • Really Really works

After a bit of learning the navigation with the app, it has performed flawlessly for the last number of years. I have recommended it to friends who also like it. I write my chord chards /lyric sheets in Word and save them as pdf’s, use auto scrolling and backing tracks made with Band In A Box. Creation of this material is usually done on my PC.
The tracks (mp3) and chord charts (pdf) are all stored in the app (so iTunes won’t screw me up with the syncing).
With a new Ipad I am now trying to get the 2 talking to each other.

  • Awkward.

I find this app so difficult to use. It seems to be packed with functionality to the point of getting the absolute bare basics out of it being a nightmare. Nothing about it is smooth/easy which means using it as a vocalist on stage is really not ideal.

It’s a shame because it costs a decent amount of money for an app and I can see what the developers were going for. But unfortunately it really is a massive pain to use and I’ve spent more time scratching my head trying to get it to play ball than I have actually reading lyrics on it.

  • Not very intuitive! Too complicated!

If you’re at a gig you want to call up your set list and your songs quickly you don’t want to be navigating, toying around trying to find out where the hell they are! Worst $15 I ever spent wish I could get my money back! Whoever designed this needs to rethink about the ease of calling up your song at your fingertips fast! Terrible

  • Wth

I’m very annoyed and upset I spend 15$ on this. It will not allow you to put your own songs Into it which says it’s intended to do so in the app! I’m furious
