I am enjoying this app. I am a writer, but can never come up with names for my characters. This app solved my problems! Just type in a letter or two, girl or boy, and the meaning that you want and then you get the perfect name. The only thing that would be better is if the search would not change the letters. Sometimes I will type in l,n and search and it would show me results for n,n. this is the only thing that really bugs me about the app. I reccomend this app and hope that you enjoy it!Show lessThe Al Gal
Useful app
Useful app, lots of names to browse & search through via many ways. Can't see to delete custom names one by one, only all or none. :-(ArChAnGeLs_FuRy
Best free one I've found
This is the best free app I've found. Has the top 1000 popular boys and girls. The other free ones have 25,000 and 50,000 but they are full of obscure names.Gavg13
What's your problem?
For a free app I think this is great. It gives me lots of information and I found every name I typed in. The meaning that made me laugh was Kylie- means boomerang! Is that because she's making a comeback!

Really good
This app is really good! I wouldn't pay for it but the free version works pretty good. I like that you can in put a starting option like ste & it will source names starting with ste like steve, Stephanie etc or you can put in an ends with option like ly & it will source names ending with ly like Emily or Billy etc. I think that's an awesome idea. Wonderful app
Great for origins and meanings, I think I'm going to have to pop out a litter just for all the names I like!
Nice layout and user interface too.
And although there are some comments about names being 'stupid and made-up' don't worry, as with ALL name databases there are some old fashioned names that don't make sense today and names of different origins that Brits aren't familiar with but the majority are interesting and lovely names.Show lessJessmima

This App would be perfect if you could email your complete Favourites list, and not just one at a time. Hope it's included in the next update!Mattc05!
Well organized and Easy to use
I hardly write reviews, but this one was awesome. Most apps have names categorized by alphabet and maybe origin, but this one takes it to another level. Even gives you popularity ratings in case you want something everyone likes or something different. A huge list of culture origins too.Nanernaner
Does what I expected
I was happy with the app - wouldn't pay for the premium version: free and basic is fine with me. Would've been 5 stars but sometimes my searches clear when I return to them from the name meaning or favourites page. May be a bug or may be intentional - either way, a little annoyingxxsoshellxx
Best out of three
I tried two other free apps and this is by far the most useful. You can search many different ways including by origin of the name. It gives you origins and definitions of the names, with many variants, all features that are not free in other apps. I left one star out because it does crash a bit and because Assyrian and Phenician names originates from North America according to the map!! Come on, guys, the map feature is interesting but it's not difficult to make it right!Show lessPolo71200
