  • Great for the most part!

This is a nice app for reading .mobi and .prc files. I use GoodReader as my storage app and then open in Ebook Mobi because it sadly lacks user definable categories, vital for users with lots of books. My only other gripe is that sometimes Ebook Mobi won't open a book I've read before, that's listed right there in my contents. Don't know why this glitch keeps coming up.

  • Don't buy it unless dictionary issue is resolved.

This would have attracted a higher rating from me if it weren't for the fact that I needed to download a dictionary (StarDict) that is outmoded and legally disputed. The file group that is indicated in the instruction doesn't exist. Instead, there are complicated instructions once you locate StarDict. I don't need the hassle and unless the problem is fixed satisfactorily, I can't recommend the app. The Internet is not short of ereaders. The developer should bring an update immediately.

  • Does ALMOST everything

Fantastic little app, miles and miles above most others in the market since Stanza was canned. Support for all formats, offline dictionary, dropbox integration...

I would make this my primary ebook reader if it wasn't for a handful of must-have features that are just missing. It does not read links to footnotes or table of contents meaning academic reading is incredibly bothersome. Combined with the inability to make notes or highlight is a HUGE problem for me personally. Unfortunately the last update came almost a year ago so I'm not expecting any changes, but this is still my best hope for a fully functional ebook reader. It will remain my secondary for comics for now...

  • Bad interface

Ability to translate things is really useful, and lacking in other refers, but it keeps turning pages when I select words near the edge of the screen. Lame :(
  • Nice reader but translation disappointing

I bought this app primarily for the promised translation features. It does allow you to touch a word and select "Translate" from the menu that pops up. However the app uses Google translate and after 4 or 5 words Google servers ask you to key in the characters from a word picture to make sure you aren't a robot. So really not usable unless you are fairly fluent in the language.

  • Great little app!

Very happy, does what it is supposed to do without hassles. Future wish: ability to store docos in separate directories.
  • Constant "Error when reading file" crash

This app is great when it's not bugging out several times per book. Apparently it's a common occurrence because the error message comes with instructions on how to "Refresh", "Delete cache" and "reload". This has happened with every book at least twice per book....meaning you have to go searching for your place before the unexpected error. Fix this and it would be a 5 star app.

  • A pretty good reader....

My favorite feature is the link to DropBox. My friend and share files and books; this feature makes it very easy and convenient.
However, it would be nicer if the page were not split into two columns when the iPad is horizontal. Helvetica font would be nice too.
  • Great reader

Does what it's supposed to and does it well.
  • My go to reader

I have just about every ebook reader in the App Store, and this is my favorite. I especially like the brightness control. Highly recommended.
