The Lutron Home Control+ is being replaced by the Lutron Connect app. There may be some changes required for your system, but most of the components you have should continue to work.   • Text Size is TINY

    I woke up to the update and the size of the words are so small I need readers to see them??!! WTH happened to the size of the text? It needs to be larger and or have a way to make it larger.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback on the latest update to the app. Can you confirm which screens in the app you would like to have bigger text on? For example the Area / Rooms listing screen, room options screen (with Lights / Events / Keypad icons), or Keypad control screen, etc?     Dear Lutron,
    This app is so much better than Connect. We are really bummed that we can’t continue using Home+.
  • Save the cloudless app!! Our clients don't want cloud!

    This app is massively better than Connect for doing live scene settings. Lutron, at least let us keep using this app inside the home on the local network! And our high net worth clients do not want to be on any cloud. They use Home+ through their VPN and don't need or want to use a cloud they don't control due to security risk.

  • App no longer functions for me😒

    When I called Lutron tech support yesterday (because app is giving me error message “could not connect to the system) they said the app has been buggy ever since ios13.1 but they decided not to do anything to fix it because they announced they will stop supporting the app in April 2020. The tech support agent said that in order to maintain the same functionality I had before I will need to 1) buy new hardware (ie Lutron Bridge ($220); and 2) pay Lutron installer (presumably >$800).

    I’m frustrated with this because 1) it’s clearly not April 2020 yet and implicit in saying you will stop supporting something in April 2020 is that you will support it up until then, which they are not doing; and 2) when I paid through the nose a few years ago for a new Lutron system I was not expecting Lutron to institute this planned obsolescence of the product I purchased.

    I’m in the midst of building our new home and this experience will likely cause me to decide to avoid giving Lutron my business again.

  • I phone 11

    Since I upgraded from I phone 8 to 11 ,I can only control my lights from inside my home while using the app . Before I switched phones I can control my lights and thermostats from anywhere . What is the problem ?

  • Update this week made system unusable

    So much for a bug fix. Now I have no way to control my shades.

  • Subscription expired can’t renew

    The app has worked reasonably well. Now trying to do annual renewal, constantly get “can’t reach store now, try again later” for days. Never saw it so hard to spend $59. As for customer service, good luck. On hold forever, never call back.

    Thank you for contacting us. Remote Access is no longer available for purchase in this app. We’re sorry to hear that you didn't receive the announcement that we are ending the remote access feature in the Home Control+ app. However, it is being replaced with the Lutron Connect app which does away with the fee for remote access, as well as adds many new features to your system. These features include voice integration with multiple platforms like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.
