Iffy sound, no playback
Great idea, works quickly. I love setting it to start recording immediately on launch, & it uploads automatically. One tap solution!
Some glitches to sound quality, but ok for voice memos.
But it seems one must switch apps to listen to resulting recordings. Griffin's iTalk integrates playback, tho that app requires extra steps for each upload to DropBox.

Very simple. Also works when no internet connection. It would upload once online.

Quick voice recording to the cloud.
Love that I can record on opening app (just don't lock phone with app open or next time you unlock to do anything else you'll create a needless recording).
I did get an error for one recording, saying a network or dropbox issue was at fault. In that case, temporary local storage and sync-when-you-can would have been nice.

Simple and Effective
This app was just what I wanted - an easy way to record Voice Memos on the go and get at them later with minimum faff. I record memos when I'm out and about, and then they're already waiting for my in my Dropbox on my PC when I get home. Perfect.
Phone Died, Recording Didn
Tonight, I recorder a show with 3% battery left on my phone. The phone made it through the performance, but died as it was uploading. Fortunately, when I turned the phone back on and opened DropVox, it resumed uploading as if nothing had happened. That, to me, constitutes a great deal of thought put into this app. Thank you, Irradiated Software.

Works great... Now how about a companion app for OSX that would allow you to do the same thing from a Mac or MBP?

It's taken this long. Finally an app that uploads a voice memo instantly without the need for syncing with iTunes. Something dropbox itself can't do. Tip to avoid phone call bug. Turn on airplane mode whilst recording. Close app, turn airplane mode back off and memo will upload when you re-open dropvox.

A great addition to my reporter tool kit
As a radio journalist this app ought to be compulsory. Would like to see recording in mp3 as an option as I have to convert my reports before I can play them in the on air system. But otherwise this will revolutionise my reporting from the field.

I bought this app as a replacement for the default iPhone voice memo app, and I'm glad I did. It works just as well as the default app, but with a nicer interface AND the ability to sync with dropbox, which is invaluable.
I'd like to see, in a future version, the ability to list and play back previous recordings stored in the dropbox folder, similar to the default app. That'd make it even better.
