  • Doesn't work with TrendNet

Nothing describe which cam is supported, so I've installed it. But it doesn't work with ip-121wn
  • Good app

2 things missing in this apps. A passcode to block people who grab my iPhone to have access to see my cams, and 2 way audio. This apps work fine with wanscams. Love this apps
  • Heavy bandwidth utilization!

"15MB" per minute, according to the counter in the application. And this is from a Foscam 8910 displaying a completely static image - no movement at all.

Otherwise, a well written app that's easy to use.
  • Works fine on my Kogan

Just set it up outside to monitor our pool and backyard. Ability to turn off Internal IR is a plus so no reflections from dome. Access via 3G is good but fairly high data rate could make it expensive. Make sure to open appropriate ports on your router.
  • Great once it is setup with kogan

Great app, using with kogan ip cams. Virtually no instructions, so first thing to do is get your camera working and emailing you for alerts. Then tick the box of email me cameras URL. Then enable upnp and go to status page. Should show ddns as succeed eg 88safe succeed. Then check your email, camera should have sent you it's URL, this is what you put in the address field. Then put in your user name and password note the default is admin and blank (prob good idea to change that!) won't work if you are on same network, but does outside. Then

  • Great app

This app is pretty slick especially compared to the Tenvis app. Some suggestions for improvement are to better handle error situations like when camera is powered off then comes back on. I usually have to kill the app and restart if this occurs or I get spinning wheel forever. Keep up the good work.

  • Barry

Works well for a free app. Had no problems in setting up cameras. Audio works ok as do the remote controls. Would have like to have date and time stamping and recording.
  • It works!

Quite surprised an app could do this, but it does work very well with my cheap china IP cams. Shows a decent Video stream of the cam, and gives good control. The setup screen could be a little more helpful, as I initially thought it was asking to create an account. But it is asking for the cam details.

I like to see this app developed further. More controls could still be added, and maybe multiple cams viewed at the same time would be impressive.

  • Still works with 1st Gen iTouch

This is one of the few or only IP cam apps I could find that works with older devices. I was looking for a simple baby monitor, and it's nice to be able to use some/old devices I have laying around. There's no audio, but the 1st Gen iPod touch doesn't have a speaker, so that makes sense to me. Only thing I could ask for is an in app pinch/zoom to streatch out the picture.

  • Brilliant!

Forget the Tenvis app, this is the one to get! It is so good I would have paid for it, having said that I'm glad I did buy the audio upgrade as well.
