Worthless unless it gets an update
When I first downloaded the app a week ago, it worked for a short amount of time. But since then, it takes forever to recognize that an SL board is there, and when it does it's temperamental on whether it wants to connect. And when it does connect it almost immediately crashes. Every time. Even others on the worship team I am part of have the same problem. Please PreSonus! Update this app! Then I will give it five stars!

Not Working in IOS 9
Needs an update to IOS 9.

Works well for large performances
Originally I didn't want to use this app, but once I figured it out I will never go back to the physical interface. I used this for a large a'cappella group with 14 singers plus vocal percussion. I was able to easily control every channel and add EQ and compression on app. I was even able to add a limiter to a mic with unexpected problems in the middle of a performance.
This being said, use this app BEFORE PERFORMANCE. Make sure your wifi works, and make sure your computer works as well. I believe the negative reviews for this app where from people how didn't get past technical proble,a related to this app.

Great App but one complaint
This app is great, it gets me out of the blackhole of sound that is our sound booth and allows me to roam the room and get personal with our set up. Even allows me to personalize every ones mixes and instantly improved the sound of the room when we upgraded to a presonus 24.4.2. But with my ipad two i have issues being able to slide back and forth to see all of my chanels. If that problem was fixed it would totaly be 5 stars.

Very useful app
I am a musician, and not the sound guy. So I use the app for adjusting my monitor mix and it does a great job of that. My only whine about the app is it only works in landscape mode. On my iPad, I switch between a metronome, music charts and SL Remote. The first two work best in portrait mode, but SL Remote only works in landscape. Very inconvenient.

SL Remote Review
I handle monitors and FOH for medium sized events. I recently did a show with 11 floor wedges divided into six monitor mixes, FOH had balcony delay zone, front fill zone, aux fed subs and left and right line arrays. With this app, I was able to dart from position to position on the stage and in the house while sound checking under an extremely tight timeframe. Yes I bring a router extender and antenna booster to my shows to make sure I have strong wifi. It can operate almost every feature of the StudioLive mixer and helps make tuning a venue fast. Awesome tool.

Got the update
Thank you PreSonus for getting the update out!! One thing I would really like is the ability to access the master volume more easily. Having to tap the small button for the master and aux sliders is too difficult in a pressured situation. Please consider having something like a swipe option to control the master slider.

iOS 7 problem
SL remote worked well until IOS 7 was installed now the app will only work in portrait view and labelling does not work at all. This should have been sorted weeks ago.

Landscape broken iOS 4.3.3 iPad Gen 1
Portrait view works fine and provides a lot of functionality but in landscape, it only allows for very basic control; any attempt to select any other setting on that screen (e.g. Aux, GEQ, Mains, etc...) crashes the app. Three stars because it half works. Connecting through Win Vista Ultimate 64bit, SP2. Latest 1.7 version of Presonus software package installed on PC and SL16.4.2.
