It could be more versatile
This is a great game and you get to see other players “stores” however the game needs a better edge. I believe if you added a few simple elements Fashion Story would be a 5 stars for every player.
Ive come up with a small list of improvements that could be made.
{First is a friend request button. The game is lacking that simplicity. If you want to add someone as your friend the player has to manually type in their ID and sometime you have to go back and forth because of spelling.
{Second After selling merchandise a certain number of times the players should receive it as a gift to use on the players avatar as a new outfit item. The game gets boring and you loose interest making anyone want to stop playing after 5 minutes.
{Third is the amount of time it takes to receive merchandise. Shorten the time on the merchandise to under an hour for the majority of items would keep fingers moving and moving fingers means players being engaged.
{lastly just for fun it would be neat if your avatar was somehow incorporated in the “store” itself. Maybe sitting at the cash register or walking around to check on items)

Internet Connection
It’s a good game overall I love it. But everytime I enter the app, it says I have no internet connection even though I am connected to the wifi and have internet. All my other apps works but this app says it everytime I enter it. When I press try again, it starts working again but I don’t make any progress and I get no money. My store doesn’t make any money. Fix this please.

NO COMMUNICATION. GREEDY. CRASHES.
Sadly, while the game is fun, it is set up for you to accidentally spend money to get anything done and there is ZERO help from the developers. I have played this and other storm games for a long time and deleted them all years ago. I downloaded them thinking things might be different now but it’s a million times worse. Every move you make, an AD pops up. Place an item, AD. Win something, AD. Buy something AD AD AD!! On top of how expensive everything is.. and I don’t mind spending money on a game.. they REFUSE to give refunds or assist in helping you if you accidentally purchased something. I have asked more times than I can count for help getting refunds but they immediately close the ticket. It disgusts me how greedy and single minded they are with NO care for their players. It’s not just refunds but my game has been crashing for months and I’ve received diddly squat in assistance. Also, all events should be able to be won with hard work but it’s absolutely impossible to win without spending money. It’s sad. There’s nothing wrong with charging but it’s all these people care about and everyone knows it. NO HELP! ALL ABOUT MONEY! VERY FEW UPDATES. ZERO COMMUNICATION!!!!!

Updates
I enjoyed playing the game. I like to upgrade my phone and hate to start over. I just upgraded and was at level 98 ,last time 45 and I had to start all over. It’s was taking me forever to get to level 100 because it was harder to achieve ,I’m assuming for fear we’d stop playing once reached. What’s the point in creating a Storm8 account if you can’t pick up where you left off. I will not be playing again because there are no changes and updates once you get to a certain level and it gets boring. I would like a fashion story 2 like you all did the other games with a more modern look. I’ve been playing this game off and on for years and expect something to look forward to when I get to levels in the 90s.

Chill on the ads
Game is pretty fun, used to play it about 10 years ago, have started again now but am constantly getting bombarded by unskipable ads every few minutes that I don’t remember always being there. Considering this game is marketed towards kids and young teens, I also find it highly inappropriate that games that mimic and encourage gambling are being advertised, especially at the rate they are. Kids are already addicted to their devices, I don’t think it’s good to be encouraging an additional gambling addiction on top of that. In app purchase pop ups are also frequent and tricky to the point I’ve almost accidentally purchased absurdly priced gems multiple times, a kid might not cancel this and could run there parents accounts hundreds of dollars lower if not careful. Overall, the ethical boundaries of the app owners are questionable, but the game is relatively fun.

I’m not pleased right now I don’t have any issues with my games except fashion story, I’ve reached out to storm 8 three times they haven’t bothered to deal with what’s happening so today I’m reaching out to Apple to file a complaint, as soon as I fill all the shelves and racks I close my game to play the others 5 minutes later I open my game to respond to a player gifting or liking my items and I notice everything has vanished, I stopped buying gems years ago as this is a regular occurrence so I’m not wasting anymore money on gems💎💎💎what upsets me most is the lack of support from these developers that they don’t take this seriously? I’ve seen other players who left really bad feedback now I know how they feel and why they left such strong feedback, if you have a app in the Apple store then be responsible when players reach out and respond it’s what’s expected of you, I’m so annoyed I’ve had this happen 3 times in a row now, the adverts drive me mad but I can tolerate them? What I can’t tolerate is this nonsense happening over and over again it’s absolutely ridiculous

Disappointed
Used to be a an okay game, now there’s just WAYYY TOO MANY ADS! You can’t do anything on the app without watching an ad first :(
Minor fixes
Overall the game is fine. However I think there are minor things that should be fixed. For one, there is an option where you can expand your shop by having a certain amount of neighbors .. but when you reach that amount, the option mysteriously disappears. This is very frustrating bc that is the easiest way to expand your store without having to spend coins or gems. It’s also a waste of time. Also, i think the game developers should add an “inventory” tab where all of the stored items can go. This is easier than opening the “design” tab and having to look for it. Idk it’s just a weird setup. Additionally, I think that the developers should allow players to have more options to design their character. For example , body type, height, eye shape, eye color, more skin shades, etc. But other than that, it’s alright.

Boring
I have been playing for many years and this was an absolute fave of mine. Weekly updates and challenges kept the game new and fresh. But sadly, the game is now stale and boring...there has been nothing new for years. I am now at level 100 but no more goals now to keep me interested. You just constantly re hash all the old items...Xmas, Easter etc. etc...I am not the only one to have expressed my disappointment at the way this game has gone but you don’t seem to care as long as people are still spending their money. Sad to see how you have neglected what used to be a great game...
