Great, but some flaws...
Durandal was probably the best game of the trilogy, and I like the fact that they're here on the App Store, but there are three flaws that really bug me (pardon the pun).
1. The Screen size is not fixed for the iPhone 5, so it looks compressed.
2. There is a glitch where, if you leave the game running, and return later, there is no sound. An error that must be fixed. (It should also be noted that this problem appears in not just Durandal, but ALL Marathon games.
3. (Most Important) There is a glitch where, if you start the game at the level The Big House, the app will bring you straight to the home screen. This is a bug that needs to be fixed, as it takes away from the ENTIRE story.
I love all Bungie games. And Marathon is really good! Just fix these flaws, and it will be perfect!Show lessODST 1337

The others are fun but this is by far the best. You're not confined in small dark hallways like in the first and a lot of Infinity. This is a great remake for a great game.Daneig123
Fantastic!
This was my favourite game growing up! I really got into the story. It really needs a keyboard to play to get the most out of the game play (but not essential). Will try and connect up a Bluetooth one. So glad I've got this on my iPad. Well done guys!Bridgy666

I wrote a review for Marathon 1 with the same message, and I want everyone to know. Whoever made these Marathon app has the worst idea for a control mechanism in the history of controls! Who has that kind of sick thought?! Like I said in the other review, I tried contacting them via email and they never responded!! Marathon
It's back. My original Bungie Sack, with all three versions hiding in the basement. The games purchased in 199x at the Apple expo NYC. Now my new version hides in the clouds until I'm ready to play.
For a game almost 20 years old, it shows just how good the programming was. I still think Marathon is the daddy of every action game played to date. And it's still great.
