Simply the best writing app
I have tried 5 other writing apps and Write 2 is the best by far. Simple to use, elegant interface and faultless Dropbox syncing; it is my go to app every day.

Enjoying using it on both iPad and iPhone, although I would like to see an iMac version as well so I can continue working seamlessly when I get home. IA Writer has an iPad and iMac version but a gaping hole in the iPhone platform... I need one or the other.. Help me!
Brilliant, intuitive, and a real timesaver!!
I am a professional writer, and most of ideas come to me when I am stuck in traffic or sitting in a waiting room. In the past I had to rely on notepads, both paper and virtual, to log my ideas, finally transferring said thoughts to my word processor when I returned home.
Write 2 has not only allowed the same note taking functionality, but has taken the writing experience to an entirely new level. Syncing with Dropbox has been a real timesaver for me, in fact, I wrote an entire article while waiting for a doctor appointment, and upon returning home I opened Dropbox, copied the text (formatting in tact), and completed my article in a matter of minutes.
Write 2 also offers robust features such as "pin protection" which allows you to protect your work via a password much like the lock screen, Auto Text, which allows shortcodes (i.e. myaddr = full home address), saving a tremendous amount of typing. You can customize the fonts and background to suit your needs, and of course "Writemate" which allows you to use an iPod or other iDevice as an external keyboard. Writemate does not work on older generation iDevices.
This is a writer dream app, and if deadlines haunt you, this app will allow you to utilize time otherwise wasted.

No worries
Works well. I only use the iPad to scratch notes rather than serious writing, but this app makes life easy on the go. I like the extended keyboard. I could use an English dictionary instead of the American English as the auto correct is irritating, but other than that it's very good.
The best
Would have to be the best app I've used. I'm only a two finger typer but this app has increased my letter writing speed to an amassing level. Well done.
Sweet!!! Finally, a 'functional' writing application!
I have tried quite a few writing apps. Some free, some purchased. This one is the best I've seen so far. Still has room for improvement, but it's far more functional than the others I've used. The filing system makes organizing my stuff MUCH easier. The ability to synchronize with DropBox is the cherry on top. I've actually incorporated this into my daily work at my place of employment. So, why only 4 stars? Well, there are still some hiccups in the synchronizing with the DropBox. I'm in contact with the developers and they're looking into it. Being a developer myself, I'm giving them some slack :-).
Two suggestions I have are:
(1) Incorporate 'Speech-to-text' functionality. During meetings, I can 'speak' faster than I can 'type'.
(2) It would be very useful to be able to associate audio files document. I could summarize an impromptu meeting at the coffee station later when I get back to my desk, or when I get home while watching the news in my lounge chair

After reading the great reports on this app I was suprised that the very first thimng I wanted to do, Link an account to the drop box froze the screen and now i cant do anything with the app. i cant cancell out of the link account screen and it wont link when i insert the details, so at this point it would be good to get my money back!

I had expended plenty of money trying to find something simple and practical when dealing with notes, too bad that I can't have my money back, but that it is ok since FINALLY I had found the right one.
