Thanks for your comments. We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We use North American and British accents, and alternate between both. Listening and comprehending different accents, tones and expressions helps learners pick up on the subtleties of pronunciation and leads to a better understanding of the English language. The setting for American vs British English is primarily there for the spelling of words, which often differs. Our family has used and loved this app since it was lauched. It keeps getting better. It has greatly improved in operability and design while retaining its originally key feature which is, simply, that kids love it and learn from it. We await more lessons.
