Add A Photos-Style Tool(& Some Other Things Please!)

Hey 👋🏽 The app is pretty good! As far as content & posts that users smiled-you know how in your photos application U can edit your feed & delete photos? Can U guys implement that feature into IFunny? I personally feel that this would be a good feature to add! Additionally when users use to delete certain content & posts on their smiles/saves page-the page would automatically start back up at top-for me personally this was always a pet peeve of mine-if you guys haven’t already implemented a fix for that-could U please fix it? I sincerely appreciate it!

Another suggestion: Automatic Page Wipe(for user’s pages-specifically in memes & my smiles.

My final idea is for page navigation: A pause system. long term short-If a user is kicked out of the app or it crashed-and they were scrolling through another user’s page-this pause system could automatically save the user’s position(as far as scrolling)when they hop back into the app & onto that page!

Suspended for 10 years update

I randomly got auto modded for “threats of harm” and now my account is suspended for ten years. Not only do they not inform you of what caused the ban in the first place, the support team blatantly ignores your appeals as well as your emails. I’ve been on the app for over 2000 days and NOTHING I have done has violated the terms of service to warrant a ten year ban. And now the app is filled to the brim with politics and porn bots that actually violate the terms of service, but despite multiple people reporting them, nothing happens to them. It’s very clear that the moderators love child pornography, as there are a large number of accounts I have had to block that post such evil nonsense. But because I am suspended, I can’t even view anyone’s profiles to report and block them. So thanks for nothing. UPDATE: It’s been over a month of them straight up ignoring my emails. I have contacted support 6 TIMES. Half of them giving me an automated response, to which I receive no later input. I am still banned for 10 years, and porn accounts run rampant. Despite the App Store team responding to my reviews, I have been completely ignored outside of that. FIRE YOUR MODERATION AND SUPPORT TEAMS.

This app is single-handedly breaking my phone

I’ve had iFunny for about a decade now I’ve been using the app since I was 9 and it was 2010 cat memes I’ve watched memes evolve it’s been awesome and I’ve had so many problems with the apps ui and other issues that I have never felt the need to review or talk about here but for the last few weeks whenever I’m using the app completely by itself on my phone the only app open and being used no other background tabs open for more than 5-10 minutes my phone slows to a laggy 2fps crawl I can’t swipe to the next meme I can’t even type a comment or do practically anything without it completely slowing to mountain growth speeds and my phone feeling like the battery is about to explode because of how hot it is and now I’ve been using the app for idk 30 minutes and my phone goes from 63% to 11% battery life? No other app has done this I’ve tried with background apps and no background apps I’ve tried using random apps for awhile to see if anything else recreated the problem and no it’s just iFunny bricking my phone one swipe at a time and apparently draining my battery into oblivion idk how that happens but I have never had a problem like this not even on old iPhones before they got sued which were old then and were affected by apples policy but iFunny ran fine on those phones it ran fine on this phone until like 2-3 weeks ago when I started to notice this ridiculous problem

I am still banned for 10 years, and porn accounts run rampant. Not only this, but they are begging people not to leave by creating a garbage sweepstakes that no one cares about. FIRE YOUR MODERATION AND SUPPORT TEAMS.

Just a place for racists and bigots to hang out

I appreciate spending my evenings browsing through online content, particularly memes, as it provides a light-hearted way to unwind. I have found platforms like IFunny to be engaging and informative, as often I would come across trending topics and world news before they made it to conventional news outlets.

However, I must express my concern regarding the content being shared within this community in the comment sections. There are numerous instances of highly offensive and racist remarks, not only targeting individuals based on race but also making derogatory comments about people with disabilities. However the portrayal of African Americans and members of the LGBTQ+ community is particularly troubling and reflects a disturbing trend among many users.

These extreme viewpoints are making it increasingly difficult for me to continue using this platform regularly. I prefer not to engage with content or communities that promote these harmful ideologies. I would like to suggest that you consider implementing monitoring tools, such as AI or other software, to filter out racist and bigoted comments. It raises the question of whether attracting a larger membership is prioritized over fostering a respectful and inclusive community.

New Owners Ruined The App

I was really proud of the first meal I have been able to make on my own in a long time ever since I got i to a motorcycle accident and have been trying to be able to use my hands again (lacerated tendons made opening/closing my hands and holding things impossible). Ive had to go through physical therapy for over a year regaining the ability to function somewhat normally. Last night I was able to cook myself dinner on the grill for the first time again and I was super excited to share my progress as some supportive members of the community were encouraging me along the way. Well I got on IFunny this morning to find that simply posting a photo of my meal got my account banned, because they want to force their own religious beliefs on everyone that uses the app now.

Edit: I got an email from you guys responding to this review trying to say it is because of “multiple user complaints.” Well thats a lie and a half. You did it because you people that just purchased the app are Indian, and you are forcing your religious belief about cows onto everyone else, and are banning anything related to cows and more. I understand that there are those out there doing it on purpose, but that doesnt matter. You are forcing your own ideals on a place that was already established, and does not break TOS. You are tyrants, and know exactly what youre doing. Stop pretending youre not.

Should literally be on government watch lists

I’ve been using this app for years and stuck with it through all the updates and so, so many inappropriate ads. But it has literally become so toxic with rampant racism, misogyny, homophobia, pornography, alt right propaganda and violent rhetoric in the comments that I think it should literally be monitored for domestic terrorism threats. I report what I can when I see it, but the app has become a breeding ground for hate groups, pure and simple. Not to mention like every third meme there are three ads and every third comment there’s an ad. It makes me so sad bc this is the app I use to unwind and distract my mind before sleep, but instead I’m bombarded with so much hate - against women and black people in particular - that it kind of takes my breath away. Developers need to address what kind of community they are building and be held responsible. And don’t respond telling me you’re “very concerned” and to report inappropriate comments and users like you have on others reviews - I’ve seen next to nothing done when I have reported comments and users, and to report them all would be a full time job. It’s your app and ultimately your responsibility, you’re clearly aware it’s an issue as you’ve responded to multiple other reviews expressing the same concerns.

Real difficult to post anything as of late

Ridiculous amounts of auto moderation based off some extremely poorly done algorithms that won’t let you post any kind of photo in Bl*ck and white, photos, to words like >black, kill, panzer, and dozens of other commonly used words. Both posts and comments containing these words will be deleted outright or shadowbanned immediately with a chance of suspension. Also whenever the most recent hot button issue of the day or week is in play dozens more words and phrases are added to the list (Palestine, Israel, capitol, Government, etc, where if you were to pull pages out of books randomly 60% would be flagged by the system the app currently has. And comment sections are empty parking lots sometimes where comments immediately trigger the mod-bot but they don’t know their sentence was disappeared. Also there’s a ridiculous amount of ads spam bots and trackers littering the app that you will have to worry about. There’s been a precipitous drop in activity on the app in general as everyone seems to be talking past each other as comments and posts disappear into the void the moment they’re typed.

Let me start off by saying this app is great, I relate myself to the community a lot as a far right conservative, you don’t see a lot of apps dominated by conservative views anymore and ifunny is definitely the outlier, you can do things in this app that you couldn’t do anywhere else and I love that, however, there seems to be a massive influx of undesirables (porn bots, Etsy advertisers , and r*tards that even ifunny can’t handle) and they’ve just made this app worse, I can’t go 5 minutes without seeing some underage girl in skimpy clothing or some ads for Etsy (some are really cool but keep it off here) and the ads, lord Jesus the ads, there’s so many of them, like two for every post, and it’s always this one ad of this chick in a maid outfit that makes me want to throw my phone across the room, overall this app is good and fun just needs more active moderation in order to get rid of the porn and bots (except for Cirke, Cirke is based)

Final Frontier

First, bring back shuffle. Second, this app gets a lot of backlash for being super conservative. While it’s true that a lot of what you see on featured is conservative bias, there are plenty of niche communities for varying degrees of liberalism that occasionally escape into featured. It’s the least moderated social media app on the market, and for that reason it’s the best. If I wanted a heavily moderated, authoritarian echo chamber I’d go to Reddit. IFunny is where the only barrier to entry is how tough your skin is. Once you get past all the idiots, you can express yourself freely and usually find a community that shares your values, whatever they may be. I guarantee that you can post just as much toxic liberal propaganda as you can conservative. I’m subscribed to an account that only posts weather reports for a certain state. 10/10 free speech, idiot cesspit, and conspiracy news.

Third, I’ve just stopped updating the app. I don’t care if you change the icon to a dinosaur, the ads get worse every time I update it. Just don’t do it. Turn off auto updates on your phone, and every once and a while update your apps except this one.
