  • New Update Is The Worst

    I tried to give the new update a couple days so I can manage and understand but I am not enjoying this experience. I have to click through everything to find what I need when previously it used to flow better. Almost none of the features work like disabling my card, transactions notifications, etc. (yes I tried the website and it is the same thing on there and it is not a account issue). The app allowed for future transactions to go through when I locked my card which has never happened before. I hate just about everything about this app. I understand if it was a couple bugs but it is messing with my money and now I just might turn to other banking services.

    Hello, thank you for this feedback. We understand the update is a change, but we're hoping the additional features the update allows will be beneficial to all members (like member-to-member transfers or advanced card controls). We also plan to make continual improvements over time.

  • Old app much better

    The new wings app is very buggy. Mobile deposit use to appear in your account. Now, you see they are submitted but not deposited in your account. Bill payer, you use to be able to select the biller now you have to search or try to find them in resent payments. The calendar feature is nice but I would still take the old one over this new selection process. If you schedule two payments to a person, only the last one appears. It looks like Wings is going to the web verses using this application. You will see switching between web and application. This application won’t be here long.

    Thank you for this feedback and review. We don't have any plans to discontinue having a dedicated app. This update did allow us to have a more seamless look/feel and matching features between our website and mobile app, though. Mobile deposit can take a few minutes for the deposit to appear - and of course, the full amount may take a couple days to clear depending on member/check, which the app should warn you about. We understand using a new app can be jarring, hopefully the additional new features we were able to add will help with that transition!

  • Security issue

    While I generally like wings, this app has a security flaw that I’ve brought to their attention multiple times. It has had revised versions, and none of them fix this. The issue is a “remember me” box that has a default setting of checked, rather than unchecked. This means that it is inclined to auto-fill your member number as you open the app. This means that someone who has your password due to a breach of passwords, etc., can enter the password even though they may not know your member number. Every tim I go in, I must uncheck the box, or the next time it will be auto-filled.

    Also, as I write this review, all the letters are appearing white on a white background. So, I hope it’s legible in the end.
