Pitiful customer service
They need to provide notifications for delayed delivery so customers can make informed decisions prior to ordering.
Online customer service ‘chat’ ignore requests for a suitable solution and are completely inept. App is okay but the company behind it are unprofessional and have no integrity
Avoid at all cost as use a different delivery service. You’ve been warned...
Awarding one star was generous and I only gave it because I couldn’t leave none!
UPDATE-reply to this review came from Zomato. They had the power on the evening of said shocking experience to rectify it AND to revisit the online chat to understand the issue and, again, rectify it. Writing a response to ask me to ‘send an email’ so they can look into it is more proof that they throw puddle deep platitudes to make it look as though they are concerned. Hey, Zomato, do the research yourself and then contact me properly.

The lady who welcomed us was pleasant and very helpful, and the decor was really well done, however that’s where the good experience ended. The food sounds and looks great on the menu. In reality nothing was authentic or worth the price. Squid tentacles were tough, dumplings were doughy, the Bao buns were not made on the premises, and the duck roti was disappointing, more odd sauce than duck, the roti nothing like the flakey delicious bread we were expecting. Everything had a similar taste, and although we ate it all, as nothing was offensive, nothing left us talking about wanting to return to eat it again either.
It’s such a shame, as if the food was as good as it looks Daisy’s would be such a winner. I’m sure at the moment it is, as it’s decor and style would make it a great choice for groups, a few (expensive) drinks in and the food wouldn’t be as important as it was to us.
We left feeling a little flat, wishing that Daisy’s had been as good as we were hoping it would be. Love the decor and idea, the food however needs to taste and look more authentic before this will work long term.
