Great app, just a few stuff that i don’t like.

This is a good app. Graphics are nice, smooth, and relaxing. I don’t ever have to worry if my child is watching something bad on this app. It is also very dependable if you want your kid to watch educational videos. Their content is also educational and silly. I have heard some laughter coming from my child because of “work it out wombats.” But the first thing i don’t like is pride month. My culture does not follow pride month, and there’s this one Arther video where his teacher marries a boy, which i didn’t know my child was watching until the end. I would like a update for removing some videos you don’t want your child to watch. And a search bar would be pretty nice. I have a big tv and on live tv i can put on PBS kids and hide the remote. We have been PBS kids supporters since 2020. Thank you for being FREE too.

Awesome app!

I watched pbs kids on my tv, iPad and in my 2nd grandmas house since I was 3 I guess. I’m older now and I still watch pbs but not very much anymore. I love pbs kids. It’s my favorite kids video app! and guess what? My favorite show was nailed it and it still was when I was 9 and 10 even if I stopped watching it for some strange reason but now my favorite show is a pbs kids show that’s here! And guess what? It’s Lyla in the loop! I love Lyla in the loop and the Lyla in the loop episode “a bad case of the beeps” for no reason lol! since I love Lyla in the loop, here’s some episode requests from me! (I can’t think of any more lol.) 1: clothes for Stu: Stu’s family wants Stu to look even cuter with clothing so they go and (try to) get clothes that’s Stu’s size for him! 2: Lyla and Stu get a phone: Lyla and Stu begged for a phone but their mom said that they will need to help them with something for 2 weeks so they did! After 2 weeks, their mom brought them a phone. sadly, it turned out that it was a bad idea giving Lyla and Stu a phone so she donated their phone. 3: beep outbreak: Stu auto beeps for no reason when he was brushing his teeth and the beeps spreaded to Lyla and others in the city! Now Luke, Liana, Louisa, Louis, Lydia, ale and Everett must find a way to cure Stu!

It doesn’t have St. Louis in let’s go Luna

It’s good but the thing that I don’t like is that on let’s go Luna. It is in the United States but it doesn’t. It doesn’t have St. Louis. I just said doesn’t twice but I read a three out of five because I don’t like how let’s go. Luna won’t do St. Louis and St. Louis is like a pop the St. Louis Missouri so I just know if like it’s for like the show podcast like for the people that makes it but PBS Kids is with it so I don’t really like how that but other than that it’s not PG that’s not bad it’s notpeople, die and stuff and Sesame Street and all of that but my favorite is I mean my favorite three is so my first one is Lila in the loop definitely and then his work out wombats and then let’s go and then if mega builders Elmo and you know stuff and then it’s what’s it called the everything because I just had a class but yeah my fourth I guess is Elmo‘s way and then yeah so bye guys

I LOVE this , but there’s just a little... problem.

So starting with THIS IS THE BEST APP FOR KIDS. PERIOD. But, there are some bugs. My little sister went in this app, and went in Daniel tiger, normal, right? BUT when she clicked on the autism video pbs kids purposely went into some “trolly tales” video instead. She clicked the autism video perfectly, and another video pops up. Kind of disappointed, because she was halfway in the video but then she said, where is max? And I checked what video she was watching and it WASN’T the autism video. And half the time, the video doesn’t work properly so it’s just a black screen. Pls fix this bug! And also it says you can watch pbs kids offline but you can’t. Don’t lie like that pbs kids! Another person also complained about this offline issue! So yeah. I would recommend getting this unless you don’t have internet or if you share a hotspot with someone in your car!!!!!!!! And also pls make more lyla in the loop! Lyla in the loop is my sisters favorite show!

Update

Hello everyone, I cannot tell you my name but but I think I should I have I think we have a different because we don’t have a different app. Then it would not make sense because if we don’t because I think if you can always have yourself as something, how can you do it and like I think you are the best doesn’t have to be educational. It’s OK because if it’s not educational like you don’t have to have it and I think y’all are the best place. I’m loving years old and I know that it’s a great show to be at and you really really go down to you you don’t have to make shows or you just regular shell. I and I think yeah bye

Reupload and also fixed, pbs kids why

I see on my tv that your brainwashing kids right now by this one specific month called pride month and it’s driving all of us kids and adults nuts, it’s not okey to make kids do wrong stuff that shouldn’t be done at all, and Rosie’s rules is so terrible I’m not being mean to all the people that help made this but it’s a caillou clone, except the short where Rosie helps her abuela, and even worse Lyla in the loop is really not so good and annoying, even more worse is that I checked the learning goal and there’s nothing at all, even more more worse I don’t care if I say this or not but Milo is a peppa pig clone and a cheap copy cat, just saying I’m not being mean again but it’s all terrible, like just do your own idea that would be good and would be popular as well, here’s some of my ideas the jumping spiders, driving on the road, the great world of great adventures, Harney the yellow dog petcel, also pbs kids why did you remove a lot of the shows, Thomas and friends, bob the builder, pingu, reading rainbow, between the lions, mister roggers neighborhood, and much more, except caillou, anyways keep up the okey work, I guess…

Yay! But one question

I first want to start off saying how AWESOME the shows r. Even tho I am a bit too old to watch, as a kid I LOVE ur shows! I do wish that you would stop getting rid of good shows. Like, I used to watch this kid (I forgot how to spell his name) and you deleted him from PBS kids and replaced him with a boring show called Through the Woods. I really hated Through the Woods because it was so short! Another thing is that I agree that you should add PG-13 shows but make it in a separate spot so that little kids don’t come across a PG-13 show and start crying because on the show something a little kid shouldn’t watch happens. I have a lot of suggestions, because while I love your app and shows there r some issues. But I realize that would be wasting your time, so instead I won’t waste your time with those, instead I will go to your website and one day finish my list. To finish off, I LOVE your shows but please take these suggestions into consideration and please write me back. Thanks! And keep up the good work! 👍

DUDE! IT’S SO SIMPLE!!!

Little kids would dang LOVE your shows. They’re so well made…but for a 12-year old like me, the shows are boring and cliche. Make PG-rated TV shows for teenagers, and you will be selling like WILDFIRE! Make new shows for teenagers, and you will be perfect! I know it’s called PBS KIDS, but maybe you could make a new kind of joint station called PBS TEENS! It would be Gigachad! Imagine Wild Kratts, but the animals are dying more often, and Zach wants to KILL animals! It would be so cool!!! Why keep making cringey little-baby TV-Y shows when you could make a flipping PBS-Teens??? DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Stop wasting your time and resources on more indifferent TV-Y shows and make PBS shows for teenagers with similar plots as Wild Kratts and stuff!!! Please!!! I’m begging you!!! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Come on!!! Stop wasting time and make teenager shows!!! SO MAKE PBS-TEENS!!!

A lot to love, need parental control option

There is a whole lot to love about PBS Kids, and the app is very user friendly to my pre-literate child.

However, I really wish there was a way as a parent to filter or block certain content. For example, while I think it is FANTASTIC that Spanish is available, my child has language delays and we’re trying really hard just to help him to learn/speak English, so Spanish language focused shows are very counterproductive for him, and I know I can’t be the only one in this situation. (And I really, really don’t need him thinking all the made up pink-a-nonsense from Pinkalicious is a legitimate way of communicating.) Trying to steer him towards better-for-him content just becomes a source of strife. There are a couple that send him into meltdowns, and it would be nice to be able to remove them as well.

Hi - Thanks for your kind review and suggestions. You are not the first to suggest the need to allow grownups to curate content, so we'll look into this as a possible update in the future. If the shows your child enjoys are downloadable, you could try downloading them and putting your or their device in Airplane Mode to curate what's available to watch. Spanish will still be available but that may help some! Thanks again for supporting PBS KIDS! - Best, the PBS KIDS team
