  • Almost There!

    This is my favorite offering for digital sign in/out software. I'm not quite sold yet though, I really need a native iPad version preferably with landscape mode, as well as a kiosk mode that would allow any staff member to sign themselves in or out from one central device easily; the admin mode does this but is not intended for this purpose, it could be much simpler. Geofence capability is not reliable enough for my purpose, I wouldn't depend on it.

    If these items were addressed it would satisfy my needs perfectly.

    We added FrontDesk, and iPad only version of Simple In/Out to help with this kiosk mode. Hopefully you'll give us another look.

  • It is a good start

    Wolfgtweb is right on the money! There needs to be away to setup standard updates with a notes field. I go to lunch every day at different times and come back at different times. Hopefully the iPad version is in the pipeline; In/Out looks funny sideways on my desk :-) I'm really looking forward to using this app.

  • Good start

    It's a good start, but there are some basics that are missing.
    1. In the reports section, it would be very valuable to be able to see a list of someones status updates for a period of time. Then a manager could use that report to see "when" someone was in/out, what time they changed their status, notes posted in the update, not just how long they were in.
    2. More status options. I know you can add notes to each In or out, but most in/out software have other statuses like Lunch, Meeting, Vacation, Sick ..... and then the Update can be populated with more detailed info like where the meeting is or how long the vacation will be.
    3. Customizeable status. In addition to more default status options, the capability to add your own status options. Like "Onsite - At Client", "Heading Out". Things that would be more informational to individual companies.
    4. And lastly, there is no place to give you feedback on the app/website so you leave clients (like me) the only option to leave my suggestions and feedback in a review.

    I won't be using this app because it is missing these things and cannot accomidate my company. But will be keeping an eye on it just in case I can't find anything else.

    Hopefully you've kept your eye on us over the last 5 years. We've added most of things you recommended. We'd love for you to give us another try.
  • Geofencing not working on iPhone

    Not sure if I'm the only one but when I try to turn on the geofencing feature it tells me it's not available on my device.
  • Simple and effective

    Clean user interface, occasional glitches - but those could be attributed to user error most times. Working well for our small 10 person company.

    Our employees used to email me status updates, this make my job of managing them and knowing whats going on much easier!

    Does a great job helping you keep track of everyone--one great feature is the ability to use app or desktop to view log-in/out--can't wait for the update with different time zones :)
  • Great app

    We use this at the golf course. Very easy way of telling who is working and who isn't. It is very easy to use. Would be nice if there was an iPad version, but for a first version, very solid.
