Unusable

UBS forced me to update to keep using the app, but the new version is super buggy. Now I can’t pay my bills in the app

I hate this app!! Slow and stupid

Too complicated it is impossible to use

Complicated and buggy

The app requires a complicated login system, using either a separate app or access card. Face ID support is very limited, only allowing me to view a subset of my information before requiring me to use full login.

To add to that, the login is buggy, frequently hanging on a loading screen and then locking me out of my account for two hours if I try again.

Within the app, I was unable to set up eBills, whenever I clicked on a provider nothing happened. If I tried to go back to the eBill page it would instead navigate back to the last page I visited (either Pay or the home screen).

A huge step backwards

The developers of this app have clearly not spent time with real users to understand what most people really need most of the time. For example previously the first page was the list of key accounts and status..fine, now it is a totally useless photo of the Matterhorn. What’s the point of that?! Now takes 2 clicks to find accounts and get to what people really need. What was quite complex before is now a ‘pot pourri’ of nearly useless budgeting and investment/portfolio windows. Most people are simply not finance junkies with the time or interest to go wading around in these tools. Please please please UBS, go back to a simple, functional and intuitive personal banking application designed for normal customers.

You can do so by either adding them to your home page under “Settings – Profile – General – Configure home page”. Or by switching the start page under “Settings – Profile – General – Start page” from Home to Accounts. Merit where merit is due

Finally a banking app not designed by bankers for bankers. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into this. The app has a premium feel, must have been a very talented design team. Love how the Swissness is represented with such an iconic mountain.

One little thing thou, could have a nicer transition after paying ebills allowing user to go back to original home screen.

Complicated app

Not intuitive, took me a month to figure out how to pay my credit card and now Im being asked to use the security card on the first payment which I still dont know how to do. Ive used many banking institutions and this is the most complicated by far.

Online signing is seamless and payments without password through access app is a great improvement from trying to remember multiple passwords . Well done UBS IT team .
