Is there support for this app?
I downloaded this app and made exactly one meme with it, which I loved, it came out very well. But after that, I can select any of the various meme types to create, go to my camera roll, and it will not allow me to select any of my photos. They are all in HEIC, .jpg, .png formats, nothing weird like RAW. I tried quitting the app, restarting the (brand new) iPad Pro running the latest iOS, nothing. Went to the point of sale page to find the support link, but all clicking that link does is take you to your default browser and show you the apps to download. In other words, no support at all! Good app - 1 big suggestion to make it better
I really like this app so far. One thing that’s annoying is editing. If you choose a font or color to the text & don’t like it once it’s on the pic, you can’t just click back in the text box & pick a different font & color. You have to close the text box, start a new text & retype the whole thing. If you don’t like how the next font or color looks, you have to keep repeating. It would be so much easier & less time consuming if we could click back in instead of retyping the words over & over until you like how font & color look on your pic.Show lessHS12223374
Great meme making tools, but the community is a joke
This app has some of the best and easiest to use creation tools and is only missing a background eraser.
The only drawback to this app is that the online community attached to it is the most toxic I have ever come across. The admins actually seem to promote hate speech and racism, and those types of posts will, more often than not, receive the most amount of positive attention.
If you are a parent that monitors your child’s online interactions keep your kids off this app. The “rules” say the community is for members 18+, but it seems that at least 50% of the users are under 15 and it appears that no effort is made to enforce this particular rule.

I have downloaded and tried almost all the top rated meme makers. This one is not only the best meme maker out there, giving amazing layering options and a huge assortment of fonts, but it doesn't have a subscription charge like most of the other apps. Was good not anymore
Admins are out of control private, delete or banned you for things that don't break the rules just because they don't like it or don't find it funny. Almost the only post that make popular page are the admins post they will up-vote their own post to make it to popular and never can be bothered to up-vote anyone else's post. Admins will repost others people's post and not give credit, take down the post or even up-vote the original post, they steal it for themselves and up-vote it to popular then take credit for it.... Find another app because for now this one has major thin skinned admins with ego problems. If you only want to make memes for yourself then it's ok at best.Show lessfarmboy@6'5"
Usable but definitely needs work
Pictophile is the only gif editor I use tbh because it actually has the functions you expect from one! My only problems with it are that these options are sooo limited. I suggest: proper sizing handles (like at the corners of images, bottom/top center and side centers) and free crop (no constrained proportions) editing the opacity of an image when it’s already been placed just general quality of life improvements!Show lessFluttershy1234567890000
Went to crap
Pictophile used to be amazing until the admins became corrupt and the owner mass banned everyone. You can’t make posts of your own choosing, you have to repost old posts, the admins will permanently ban you for literally anything they want and everyone that was actually fun left the app or got banned because the admins didn’t like them. Do not download this app until it has improved in its community. Do not even try it. Go use a larger meme app instead until this one gets better. Community is toxic, admins have been caught being pedophiles and one admin just posts porn and makes sure other users can’t get into popular. I repeat. Do. Not. Download. This. Best meme app there is
I’ve been here for a while now, and I have to say, there is no other meme app that gives me this much flexibility. Other apps force me to purchase things that I simply cannot continue without. Picto on the other hand, allows me use practically everything with minimal ads. I’ve enjoyed this app so much that I decided to simply purchase and $2.99 app, not for the extra features, but to support the app, to show that I really do appreciate the user friendly experience and the endless amount of great dank memes!Show lessCyber Tails
Abusive admins, community that can’t fight back.
I’ve been on this app for years now. Never have I ever experienced a more corrupt, toxic, and abusive group of admins my entire life.
Most simply lurk, but the others that will ban you ASAP are the ones who will private your posts and send their own posts to the popular page, banning any user who even dare to call out their random bans and abusing of admin powers. This community is fantastic, but it’s ruined thank’s to Derek’s unwillingness to tell any of his admins to stop abusing his own community.
Constantly, users are being permanently banned for minor offenses, over and over again, and the owner will simply not even acknowledge this.
Do not give money to Derek, do not even download this version until he decides that enough is enough. You’re going to destroy your community and app due to your own negligence.Show lessPhropyro
Admins scaring away active users.
I have been on this app for many years and I have truly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, of late the Administrators of this app have been taking it into their own hands to “private” any post they don’t find funny to them. Unfortunately, because humor is subjective, they disagree with the vast majority of the app on what is funny, and private posts that otherwise might have made it to the popular page. The vast majority of these posts are made by active users, and much of it is original content they put thought and effort into. It’s unfair, and many old friends, acquaintances, and other popular and old users are leaving until the condition of the app changes. I shall replace my 1 star review with a 5 star if the app returns to it’s former state, and the community decides what is funny or not.Show lessHater level over 9000
