Great app, could be better
This is a great app. There are a few things I find here and there that could make it better. Staff seem willing to listen though so hopefully they can continue to make the app even better. Easy to use even for someone with no accounting background.Djaxut
This is a mess.... difficult user interface, no inventory,
I just sent an 'invoice' to my self to see what it would look like, and it has CRASHED my iPad Mail! I have NEVER seen that before! When I went to open the pdf, my 'mail app' has frozen. If it's there I don't see it 'a way to PRINT from your device! All I see is the ability to 'email' it! IF this program is good, then I quit! I've been on the iPad, and iPhones since they first came out, and this app is way to hard, and no 'tutorials'!!! Wait till they get this one right. It's NOT ready.... Sorry guys...Show lessThetool24
best accounting software I've ever tried
I tried quick books, wave accounting and many others. For the first time ever I am organized and I understand my books. I highly recommend trying it. The app crashed on me too at first so I entered everything on my chrome app and haven't had any issues. Don't give up on kashoo, it's free and really is great.Show lessTpace303
Good app...
But for one nagging issue. Periodically, the app logs me out. I'm ok with that and appreciate the security. However, rather than letting me log back in, the app displays a warning MSG that I've been logged out, then freezes. So, I close it down and restart it. Then it crashes. I have to start it again before I can log back in. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is an issue that needs attention ASAP.Show lessIratusCanis
Nice app, good interface, only a few bugs
This is a great accounting app for small businesses. As I started using an iPad as my main computer now this app is indispensable. I've entered a years worth of accounting and it works well. I haven't had problems with crashing like other reviews. There are some bugs, mainly with entering invoices, and the way the income shows in other accounts. But they can be fixed by going into the the web interface. I much prefer the app interface and dashboard over the web version. There are some functions like clearing available on the web version that would be nice to have in the app. Overall a very nice app with a good interface with only a few bugs.Show lessLee Chatametikool
It gets the job done
I use Kashoo to manage several different businesses including my Aikido school as well as a rental property. It works really well with a few minor issues: 1) I wish it would auto-login, 2) I wish it would auto-sync at login & 3) I wish it would auto-enter record numbers whenever I create a new invoice, payment or expense. Perfect for new small business owners
This program is so easy to use, share, and to understand. It's been extremely helpful, especially after wanting to throw the confusing quickbooks out my 5th floor window. Huge upgrade. Don't forget to download the iPad app.JWDesign
Virtual Accounting
I was looking for an accounting program that my bookkeeper in another state could enter transactions into, while also giving me the ability to view and edit my transactions on my iPad. I've tried Quickbooks online (app and software was weak, buggy, over priced). I loved PocketMoney on my iPad but it had serious issues syncing. Kashoo is elegantly designed and intuitive to use for non-accountants. It syncs very well so far. I had a great experience with support on questions about first time set-up.
I wasn't in the market for it, but I discovered that Kashoo is a whiz at financial statements. I was so excited to generate P&L and balance sheet statements so painlessly. It's the only software I've found on my research that combines virtual sync capabilities, great iPad app interface, friendly user interface and a powerful array of reports.Show lessAmber Monson
Great App for Accountingphobes
Really easy to use. I hate(d) bookkeeping for my business and so it was something I procrastinated on until it was a real chore. This app has changed that part of my life. The only change I'd suggest so far is to add a "forgot password?" button on the iPad sync page. If you forget it, you have to go to the website and hunt around for the link.
