Fabulous for small business
I looked around at PeachTree and other accounting software; way too complex. Kashoo is exactly what I was looking for.. loved the 30 day trial so much I purchashed! It's been so easy to enter data; very user friendly and great reports! I've recommended to several friends who have started small home-based business. Definitely try the 30 day trial!!

Just what I needed
I was looking for an easy was to track my small business and finally found what I needed. I tried other apps and just got the run around on setting up my bookkeeping. After using Quickbooks for 7 years this is the closest thing to easy I could find. Thank You!Midwife mama
Hate bookkeeping - love Kashoo!
I was soo tired of waiting for quicken to load... They should call it slowen. ;) Found lots of accounting solutions but only Kashoo was easy enough for me to do most everything in a simple app. I often have questions and support always helps me figure out how to do things, you know, like get a bad debt off of my receivables. Cloud accounting for free
So far so good. I have a small business in Thailand and am constantly on the move. I wanted a cloud based solution that I can access from my iPad and have my accountants and business partners be able to instantly see my changes in real time back in Bangkok. I really appreciate the fact that I can enter transactions in Thai currency. I will be using this extensively over the next few weeks and will post a follow up review. Nothing worked!
I don't know where all these great reviews are coming from. Some of them sound like advertising copy.
I downloaded the free app which did very little unless I signed up for "premium". So I signed up for "premium" and then tried to load my bank info and found out that I had to do that on their website.
So, I log on to their website and it and it pulls up my account and asks me if I want to go "premium". Are you serious? So now I cant download my bank information because their website does not see me as a premium user even though they just took my $9.99. And this was after I pushed a fancy syncing button on the app.
This was enough for me. Threw the app right out. The first 3 things I try to accomplish with this service are a complete disaster and I'm suppose to trust them with my finances?
Also, in my settings I entered my nationality as USA but I kept getting options that apply to Canadian banking with no option to fix.

I have alsways struggled with accounting for my business, but Kashoo has made it easy and intuitive. I love the Freshbooks integration (with Premium account) and the charts. Also, the support has been great. I rated this a four because there are a few features that I really think should be added soon like printing from the ipad and a passcode lock.Show lesscurtpatt
Make the switch
I own 2 companies w employees in different parts of the country. Until recently we struggled w Quikbooks. I'm an avid Apple user and hated QB's lack of support for the Mac version. I even bought the Windows version and Paralells just to run QB. This was an expensive mistake. When I found Kashoo it was still very new. I was clumsy at first in using it but soon found that it more than met our business needs. Technical support has been wonderful and seems to genuinely care about customer satisfaction. It took a couple of months to transfer all records to Kashoo, and it is still a little slower in data entry features but the structure is sound and does what it is supposed to do. I recommend it over QB after having used that non-intuitive Intuit product for over 11 years. No regrets. My instincts tell me that it will continue to get better over time.Show lessDGO1121

I really enjoy this program. I can track my expenses and see my business numbers on my iPad. I did use quick books in past, but it just had way too many items which I did not need and they do not have something like this that can be but on iPad via app. Great job guys, keep up the great job. Accounting simplified!
I have used Quickbooks in the past, and vowed I would never do my own accounting ever again. That is until I found Kashoo. I use FreshBooks for invoicing, and when I saw Kashoo integrates FB invoices, I was intrigued. Boy was I shocked at how easy Kashoo was to use. I understand accounting from a pedestrian standpoint, but seeing instantly which accounts are affected when you enter a transaction is extremely helpful. Also when you mess up, you can go back and correct the mistake. I remember in QB you had to void out data...major hassle. Bonus points go for cloud storage. No worrying about lost data.
Now about the iPad app...I LOVE it! It gives you amazing visual detail of the info you enter in on the desktop site. It also allows you to create and edit invoices, email them out, and record all the transactions you would see on your dashboard.
If you are an independent consultant like me, I highly recommend using Kashoo as your accounting solution.Show lessChrisPaceAZ
ALMOST MAKES ACCTOUNTING FUN
Ok, maybe my title is an exaggeration, but at least relative to using Quickbooks, Kashoo is much more enjoyable. I really like Kashoo's online accounting and their new app makes it that much more accessible. Their app is so well done, fully functional...amazing work, Kashoo, especially considering it's just been released. I can now do the bulk of my accounting work for my farm and meat business on my speedy, portable ipad, instead of my clunky old windows laptop.
Seriously, give Kashoo online a try, it's so much cheaper than Quickbooks online, and works better. Quickbooks online is barely functional with the ipad.Show lessgrazier
