I don’t use vpns all that much, so I haven’t used many, but as far it goes, hotspot shield has been my go-to since day 1. It’s been a few years now I’ve been using hotspot shield on desktop and my mobile device and I have never experienced a single issue. The app experience is just as smooth as it should be and the actual speed of the vpn is pretty good considering that it’s free. Which is the second reason I love hotspot shield so much, after all this time they have never once forced me to pay for their service. This is why I choose hotspot shield over any other vpn (even some I have paid for and cancelled). I’ve personally never used hotspot shield paid version but I’m sure it’s great given that the free experience is the best I’ve seen. Hotspot shield is definitely my number one all time for vpns, would recommend.
