It's about time...
The is the 1st synth I've got for the iPad the I wanted to hook up to record into my DAW.
Well there is the ims20 but this is more immediate and the A B thing with the mod wheel is brilliant! Much like NI's Razor.
There should be more synths like this out there... For the iPad.Xistane

Can't put this thing down! Great, useable patches. This is the first ios synth actually worth midi-ing to my rig. Supersaw is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what the updates bring.+Stab

Just like the real thing. Reminds me of a Roland JP8000. The keyboard actually responds to chords the way it should without latency. The sound is very realistic, full and rich with lots of modulation possibilities and a great arpeggiator. This is my favorite iPad synth!djcramer

Great synth but not finished
I am an electronic music producer and been working as a synth sound designer for many years.
Great synth, nice supersaw sound compare to my JP8080 and Virus.
But I think this app is not finished.
I would like to talk about some issues:
1. Pops & clicks. I hear this often, randomly even I got enough memory left.
2. Filter acts strange - Why I hear no sound with Cutoff fully open with Resonance fully closed in LP mode? Why Resonance is muting sound?
3. You need to extend GUI for Effect & ARP, for example make another main page and move the FX control, ARP with step sequencer to there.
4. When you press INIT button, PLEASE PUT IT TO SAWTOOTH WAVEFORM AND MUTE FX TOO. This is like a standard in patch design.
I know your supersaw emulation is good but please, follow the standard.
Otherwise this is just another toy for musician wannabes who never completes a song.

The guys at Beep Street have truly delivered with Horizon. The SuperSaw emulation is unbelievably close to the JP-8000 I have sitting next to my iPad right now. The filters are also very warm and usable. This app is giving the iMS-20 app a run for it's money as my ultimate iPad synthesizer. In the last few hours I've made sounds from lush to nasty and all very usable.
The fact it also launches on sale made it an easy buy.Show lessElectrosaurus
