  • Disappointed

I bought this app and am very disappointed: my Apple Watch (linked to my iPhone) won’t last 14 holes. I have followed all the suggestions on the various forums and they have made no difference. The 24 help is prompt in replying they have forwarded the issue to the relevant department and many 24 hours have since passed with no further communication. I have used 3 other golf apps and my watch battery has done over 30 holes using the gps and scoring functions. I am not even using the tracking part of this app. So yes, whilst I like the layout and user friendly setup, if I can’t use my watch then the app is of no use to me.

  • This works great

I find this app after I had already been using the Arccos caddie system and I do prefer this app. The arccos wouldn’t read all my chips or putts and, and sometimes would miss iron shots. Going back after the round and having to fix the mistakes and it remember what club I hit became annoying and defeated the entire reason I bought the arccos system. Although I do physically have to scan each club with this app, at least I know it scanned and logged my shot with the audio and vibration confirmation. I don’t have to go back and fix anything with this app. I have always played with my phone in my pocket because always used Golflogix app for distance and green slopes, no I use golf pad for distances and club tracking and I keep Golflogix running as well on my phone to read green slopes. Works great for me.

  • Missing Health Data

I have been using app for a couple of years. One of the best I have found. Easy to use, has the needed distances and great Apple Watch app. The game statistics are extremely helpful. I also use with the golf tags, which are hit and miss quite honest, but do enjoy when they work.

My biggest complaint, and the reason for the 1 star deduction, is no integration with Apple Health. I track all my workouts and steps in Apple Health. It would be really nice to also include my golf rounds. I was able to do this in a competitors app and miss not having that in Golfpad

  • Excellent app and customer service

This app discover by itself the golf course your on and their customer service can make changes to the course right from the app in case of some error in the database.

In combination with golf tags, also sold by the company, registering your score and each shot Is a breeze.

For the more technically incline this app does a complete analysis of each of your clubs.

Works well with the Apple Watch as long as you stop heart monitoring during your game to save battery.

    Highly recommended. Customer service excellent.

  • Can’t check on completed round anymore

    *Update 11th July
Since the latest software update, you can again check on your completed round and see distances of shots etc

This has been a really great app the last couple of years that I’ve used it, but recently when looking back on a played round, it doesn’t let you go past the first hole...
Is this a glitch or is it purposely now on the free version?
If it’s on purpose, then this app is worth only 2 stars, as at least it’s useable when playing a round.... if it gets fixed, it’s a 5 star.

  • Scores

I think there could be some work towards this app and the way your score especially for the Apple Watch. You should be given the option too put down N/R when you don’t score on a hole when playing with handicaps. And also when you finish a round you should be given the option too click end round of the Apple Watch because each time I finish a round and go too start another round another day I have to start the round on my phone and then go on my watch and scroll back to hole 1 for it too work which is really annoying.

  • Great App, poor customer service

I really like this app, however, several months ago the app is always on in the background and cannot be turned off. I called in they worked on it said it was fixed and it looked like it was. However when I use the app again today it is again always on in the background. So that always is using your battery and I have to delete it and then download it again every time I want to use it. I will be calling Customer Service again.

  • Good enough, apart from one small thing. On the watch, the ability to track shots is confusing.

Not very intuitive to toggle the track shots feature on the Apple Watch. Otherwise it is a pretty good app.

Even the Free version is nice, but I upgraded to make use of the app on my watch.
  • Fantastic

I’ve searched for and tried out MANY different apps and this one is the best for the true golfer- most comprehensive, compatible with Apple Watch for tracking distances, positions, yardages, etc. tracks many stats. Awesome features of being able to sort all time by course/stat/date etc. Have a plethora of online helps, tutorials, articles for customer service.
Developers: Please keep supporting this app and adding to it, we who use this love it and do so because it is better than any other golf tracking app out there - and believe me I’ve tried them all. Please add a trophy room or records section that keeps track of a bunch of different kind of personal records/streaks. THANK YOU for creating and maintaining the best golf app out there and I ask that you please continue to support it for years to come.
