Update forces purchase
The problem is that avoiding an update is near impossible if you update all your apps at once as I did.
I purchased this app some time ago and don’t need the update but had to purchase it to get my info back on my iPhone, I expect I’ll have to pay again to get the info back on my iPad. A rip off having to pay 3 times for my own information!

Thank you for rating SongBook+, even if it is a bad rating. Users that bought the full version more than 5 years ago should either not update anymore or have to buy the license again. The app makes users aware of this after 4.5 years and it is also conspicuously stated in the AppStore description of each update. The newly purchased license is valid for all devices (iPad, iPhone, Mac) of the same Apple ID. It may be necessary to run the "Restore in-app purchases" function once on the other devices.
The best app ever !!!

Please try to execute the option "Restore in-app purchases" in the menu on button "...". If that doesn't help, please contact our support.
Too complicated

Thank you for the review of SongBook+, even though it was very poor. There are many reviews of the app in the store that say exactly the opposite, that the app is very easy to use. However, since the average rating of the app out of more than 1700 reviews is 4.6, I don't think it's serious to give the worst possible rating after only 20 minutes.

Hello Caleb. It is really not normal, that the app is no longer working just after adding some songs. Otherwise the app wouldn't get that many positive 5 star ratings. Is this really a specific review for SongBook+ or a general statement that you prefer paper books to electronic ones?

Thank you for your feedback. It is correct, that you cannot change the font and size of .TXT files in SongBook+. The reason is, that the preferred file format of SongBook+ are .PDF files. The heart of SongBook+ is a PDF viewer. With PDF, you can design the document with font, size, colors and more in your preferred office software (like MS Word, LibreOffice, Apple Pages,…), then export ithe result as PDF to use in SongBook+, and it will look in SongBook+ exactly as you designed it.
