New updates letting you down

I have subscribed to PocketMags+ for years, I really enjoy the app, and the new updates.

That being said, in the last few weeks, Tech has let you down.

They removed the “trash can” in the “manage download” section, making it impossible to removed magazines as you read them. Please reinstall this function.

Three days ago the update made it impossible to download certain magazines. I enjoy the LCBO magazine from Canada, which you offer free on the app. The new 2023 Winter edition of this magazine will not download.

Thanks for your feedback. - We are looking to add the multi-issue select back to the library, in the meantime you can delete issues by tapping the 3 dots below a cover and selecting 'Delete' (or 'Archive' if you want to move the issue out of your main library). - Thank you for highlighting that on LCBO, we shall investigate. Last update display choices really mess up an otherwise very functional reader

The update applied Oct 2023 really messed up the way the content is displayed. The background is now white, which does not “contrast” with what should be the focus, your mags…. The search bar font is now a light gray, against the white background, rendering the search string invisible……

Love this app

Love this app as it allows access to magazines that are hard to find on other electronic readers. One photo magazine from the UK I became a big fan of on another platform, was discontinued on that platform. I was able to find it on this app and at a cheaper rate. With the subscription I purchased, I also gain access to other publications that are hard to find, at the price of the single subscription I was paying on my other reader.

App has issues

I was forced to use the app because my subscription moved to electronic delivery only. It is hard to find the issue I want and once I do it starts at the beginning rather than where I left off. I didn’t close the app, just minimized it so that is very annoying. Even when I bookmark a page it doesn’t return to the bookmark. Once my subscription ends I will not be renewing because I hate reading a magazine on my iPad.

Constantly Crashing

This app used to be stable, not sure what changed, can barley download an issue without it crashing 3+ times on ios. pretty disappointing

Massive problems

I have been attempting to use the app on multiple iPads/iPhone and it keeps losing magazines. Also now it is only possible to view a few mags and not past editions. Just using the App and sizing is also awful. Please revise

Great value app…

For a start the app just works… I have wide interests and most of those are covered, and many high-profile titles are in here, too - no question it saves me a fortune in overall reading materials each month, especially as you can literally dip in or out across the whole range as time and mood dictate.

I’ve read through three years’ worth of one particular monthly title in the past few months- at £4 to £5.00 per issue to buy, do the maths…

Excellent app for digital subscriptions

I love this app to maintain and read my magazines subscriptions. I have never had a single issue with this app in any of my four monthly magazines subscriptions. I like the fact that you can see one or two pages at the same time. Easy to zoom on the pages when you need it.
