  • It's alright

This is great for blocked devices but it seems to dramatically impact the sound quality I think it would be better if instead of blocking a2dp it modified it to keep the better sound quality but allow all bluetooth devices to be used
  • Works sort of

This does block A2DP profile as product does describe but stops you from using your standard music player. Instead forces you to submit a song by song "music queue". Maybe my experiences are based off iOS incompatibility but I just had a situation where my car audio resumed the music playlist over the top of the a2dp music queue which resulted in a concophony of sound such as I have never heard.
If they could just make it work with the standard music player this would be a much better product.
There's not really anything else on the market but I would probably say buy it if you have no choice but I's probably put up with fiddle-farting with the in car stereo disabling the Bluetooth audio connection each time rather than putting up with trying to set this thing up every time.
Great idea just not highly practical to use whenever starting up the iPhone/car stereo.

  • Sort of works

Thought it would disable completely but needs to run all the time seems to drain the battery quickly.
  • It lies

It doesnt actually disable the a2dp it just mutes the it so music still plays just muted. I have my iphone and ipad connected to my cAr stereo. Iphone so i can take calls and ipad so i can listen to music but even with this app i cant play music with my ipad because iphone takes priority. Stay away from this app

  • The solution

Looked at several apps since I was unable to get my music to play on my Motorola Bluetooth Headset. The phone, Siri and GPS all came thru the headset but my music would not. My carrier. Had a possible solution by adding a service that would cost me $2.99 monthly, which to me was not an option because it was included on iphone 4 & 4s but not on the 5s. This app was my solution. I've never paid this much for an app and was reluctant to do so but I needed its purported capabilities so I thought I'd risk a chance. Installed the app and instantly I had music in my headset, I was elated. I will use the setup on my MCs while wearing a helmet. All seems to be functioning very well, Phone, Siri, GPS and Music. I did panic initially because at one point I did have two tunes playing at one time, but that was operator error on my part. Play lists are a necessity, but I already had them so no real problem. This app is one of my better apps and I am totally satisfied. I does exactly what it says it will do for a small ONE TIME cost. Thanks to the developer, simple, nice and well done.

  • it works!

great app (the only one as far as i could find) that enables you to play music through a bluetooth connection. designed specifically for use with your itunes library, but will also support other streaming apps such as iHeartRadio or PublicRadio - to do this, turn "remote control" off and play as normal through the playback queue, but turn the volume all the way down. this way when you switch to the other streaming app, it will play without the music running in the background. I asked the developer myself this same question and he responded in less than a day.

  • A2dpblocker

If you have broken something in the earphone jack then you can change the audio output device with this app
  • Chyeaaaaa! Nice app

The car dealer told me my car had some old Bluetooth system and I and steam audio... Not anymore! This app is da bomb. I can finally stream my iTunes in my car. Background option is great!
  • Well at least it works!

    Only three stars.

Reason is, there's only the option to play audio and ideally i would like to use my radio on my iPhone app as well.

Secondly the music quality is severely reduced when using this app for some reason.

But it works as least so in all it's a good thing, the ui could do with some with some work but all in all pleasantly happy.

  • terrible interface/ requires new playlists

I'm glad I called apple and got a refund for this app. It requires you to create playlists and play music through the app to function. It just has controls for track back/play pause/ track forward you can't see the playlists once you have created them. It also likes to play 2 songs at once. Awful.
