Does what I need
I have had problems with the head unit in my car automatically starting music player and the iPhone in turn would start streaming via bluetooth. The head unit audio could be off or on with another source selected and the bluetooth streaming would start. The problem with this is if not stopped the battery would drain. I loaded A2DPblocker and problem solved. Followed the setup procedure in the app and with this app in the background when the 2 devices sync up the phone does nothing. I still have full phone capabilities via bluetooth and no more audio streaming. If I do want to stream to the head unit all I need to do is turn off blocking.

Doesnt work all the time
Bought this to listen to the radio with bluetooth but doesnt work,also when u use this to listen to the music from ur phone u have add songs,n it only plays those songs u've added,not impressed waste of money,money back!!!avoidRicky Lin from manchester
A2DP Blocker is the best
I love this app. Now I can have sounds come thru the iPhone 4S speakers instead of my Bluetooth headset. And when the phone rings, it rings on the phone and the headset at the same time. It has many options for you to decide how you like your sounds played. I will recommend to this app to everyone. Well worth the price and quick responsive support for any questions. Great App - Well worth it
This app worked seamlessly on my iPhone and iPad. Instead of purchasing a new stereo Bluetooth headset, I was able to use the app and still use my existing mono Bluetooth earpiece. I just wish Apple would approve an update so the app runs in the background. Great App!!!Randelation
Works Ok…But won't just block A2DP
Perhaps it needs a clear description.
I thought its base function would be to bloke A2DP, period. Make it look like a bluetooth music device wasn't even there. But, it doesn't seem to do that. Seems OK if you want to do BT music streaming to some other BT device (Speaker set, dock, or via the phone speaker.
But, if you have a BT car system that has both BT audio streaming capabilities & USB ipod connectivity. This will not block BT audio streaming.
Seems like a decent enough app for doing what it does. It just doesn't really seem to do what its name implies.Show lessRdsesq
Good job but still needs work
Just wanted to let you know I like your application but I think it would be better if you could get it to keep playing with needing the app to be open on my iPhone 4. Also it would be great if I could just take my music from my music app on my phone, it instead of a playback queue considering it always me to do and i can do that but its just a bit complex when I don't believe it should be. If you could but in an update for that I would be so happy and even refer my friends to buy you app.

Not worth it
It only blocks Bluetooth steaming if the app is in the foreground. Once you switch to another app then things will revert back to what they were. There is an option on the device that does what this app does. Go to the task bar and swipe to the right to get to the audio controls. Swipe again to get to the audio volume and source. From there you can choose where to send your audio. This does not Chang if you switch apps. Save your moneyShow lessDozer 2
Background and locked
I would like it if this app ran in the background while you played other stuff too like iheart radio. Also it doesn't play when locked. Please update :)Nintendogamer18

Works great with the iPhone 5. Once you set it up all you need to do is go to your playlist in iTunes select the playlist then go back to A2DP and play your whole playlist. You can advance the playlist or go backwards. I'm also able to play audiobooks in the same manner.
Recently I purchased the first-generation jawbone bluetooth thinking I would also be able to play music. When I found out I was unable to and downloaded this app I was really pleased that it worked as well as it does for three bucks. Good deal for my iPhone 5.Show lessJeried
Just what I needed
I bought a jabra bluetooth that doesnt allow me to play music from my iphone, only from my mac, so I started looking for an app that would let me do that.
And this is it. It works. I have only been using it for a couple of days but I haven't had any problems. You do need to keep the app running at all times, and the phone screen unlocked, but, that is a small price to pay for not buying the right headset. : )Show lessSaint macmar
