Update....
Got a new iPhone and found that this app does work with it - so some progress. However, it only works while you have the app open. There doesn't seem to be a way to have it running in the background while you navigate to another part of your phone. Come on guys, lets have a toggle to switch it off permanently so we don't have to keep going to the app every time and we can use other apps at the same time..... Do that and it would be an instant 5* app for a LOT of people.Show lessIcaro1435
Does work with 3GS and IOS5 -- somewhat
When connected the iphone on my Volvo S60 IOS5 will transfer my iphone music to bluetooth instead of playing thru the iphone device module in the Volvo. It appears to be playing but there is no music.
Even when A2DPBlocker is active on the iphone this will happen. If I switch to BlueTooth device on the Volvo app while the iphone is playing and turn off THEN ON the A2DPBlocker it will immediately stop the BlueTooth playing and I can switch back to the Iphone devcie on the Volvo (from bluetooth) and the iphone will play music thru the iphone device without swiitching to the bluetooth.
It sounds confusing, but it will work. Hope the new version will do this automaticlyShow lessUDaMan2
Works as advertised, simple
Simple to use and behaves exactly as expected. Keeps audio from shutting off from Bluetooth connection, making my device less of a pain to use in my car. Great app!magthe
Didn't fix the problem
I have a 2009 Volvo v70 & since upgrading to ios5 cant get mu USB dock to work--it displays an "unreadable" message for anything I try to listen to on my iphone. I read on an Apple forum from other Volvo owners that this app will make it work again. Nope! Not for me or my 2009 make/model. I had no issues with previous ios versions. Curse of ios5! If you own the same make/model & year car as me, save your $2.99-- this app is not the magic bullet to fix the ios5 glitch.Show lessWhereismare

It Doesn't turn off A2DP
Sorry to report that it doesn't turn off A2DP on my iPhone 4 with opsys 5. When paired with A2DP headset, iPhone sends the chime to the bluetooth earpiece when a text or sms arrives. Earpiece is off my ears and i miss many messages. The only way to get the chime back to phone is to turn off bluetooth headset Jailbrake had a wonderful app that this app is trying to imitate except this doesn't work. Bye bye $2.99Show lessEndre_P

Waste of $3
This app simply fails to do what it promises. Followed the instructions, but on my brand new 2011 Subaru, my iPhone 4 still starts playing automatically via Bluetooth Audio after synching up - every time I start the car. Plus, when I plug my iPhone into the USB, I still have to manually switch it to "Dock Connector" every time. So annoying, but what's more annoying is that I got excited about, and paid for, this worthless app.Show lessmattyc80
