I love the app but please update 1.13
Yeah I love Minecraft and the entire wiki. There has been significant updates that I was were reflected in the app. It makes me angry that it states it’s “Minecraft Official”. The developer is not Mojang, Microsoft or Apple for that matter. Please I ask for clarification and and update.Bednbrkfst

Regarding your question about the “Official app”; we are officially endorsed partners with Mojang AB, that is so say, this is an official licensed Minecraft product, and as such, Mojang, Microsoft nor Apple are not directly involved with the engineering aspects. -57Not what it once was
Before Minecraft had an in menu crafting recipe book or names for items, this app was simply amazing. It was the quickest and most convenient way to find those things. Now however Mojang has made this app all but obsolete. It still has its uses here and there but it's certainly not worth paying for.Show lessElwood45128

Great app but desperately needs an update
I bought this app back when I played Minecraft more and it worked really well. I recently got back interested in playing again and downloaded this app, only to find that it had the exact same content as 2 years ago. It says in the description that this is the official Minecraft guide but it is really lacking. Hopefully it can get an content update very soon and include all of the new content that has been added into Minecraft.Show lesskick_44

Paid application yet inundated with ads.
When I purchase a mobile app, that purchase comes with the expectation that it will remove ads. That isn’t the case for this app. Virtually every tap of the screen leads to a pop-up advertisement. Unacceptable. Any value this app may have had is nullified by these intrusive ads.

Hey Orbin Storm! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As it turns out, some of our users would see an alert message each time the app opened; this was a configuration error which we have now fixed server-side and it should no longer happen all the time! If you are still setting this behavior, please contact us (support@57digital.co.uk) so that we can investigate it further. The only other area where we show related apps (made by us, nobody else) is in the banner section in the 'Guide' menu; if you would like to turn this off, simply go to the News tab > Settings and select 'Hide Cover Images', this will hide the banner.
