  • MC explorer pro

I love the app and there is more than 1 reason why because of its help with new or changed crafting recipes and it notifies updates almost immediately and paper craft and skin studio are amazing what paper craft is a in app perches that prints mobs hostile mobs and even steve and your own character on your profile and on skin studio you can make your own minecraft skin and share it to facebook and to the public and if you are looking for a server no problem there with this app you can find a server ip to a new server it even has a list of popular servers and unpopular servers it also has its own enchantment guid to find out the level of the enchantment and what it dose the app also lets you know where the next minecon will be and when it takes place and if you don't know what a mob looks like, what it dose, and/or its health than minecraft explorer pro is going to tell you all that over all the app is grate so get the awesomeness today!

  • Great app but can improve

This is a great app but the user interface does not flow very well. It can crash at time when you tab through minecraft news or general news. The app does an excellent job giving the user nice breakdowns as to certain crafting recipes but other less used recipes and more finite recipes, it makes you have to go through other recipes. I understand you have to go through 1 before you get to 2 but having everything I'll want to craft available in one tab opposed to sifting through other crafting recipes would be nice. My biggest beef is this app needs and update!! Stop focusing in on crafting paper to look like minecraft creatures and blocks and STAY CURRENT with game updates, new blocks, and new recipes.

  • Pretty Useful and Handy!

Tells you the fundamentals and what you need to know about Minecraft it's self for the PC, Xbox, and Pocket-Edition. If you are curios about enchantments, it's there. Drop rate of a zombie and what it could drop? That's there too. Along with basic Minecraft knowledge if you cool optional extras you can purchase them too. The paper raft addition is cool to make and can keep you occupied. There is also a skin creator (which I have yet to try out) looks cool. Sure you have to pay extra but I paid for minecraft info and it looks like a cool addition to a great app. This app has been so useful so I recommend this app if you need Minecraft info on the go, or a PC is not available in your area!

  • Excellent app. I have I ideas on how to improve.

I love this app. It's useful and doesn't eat up much of the little memory I have left. I do think, however, that the app lacks minor elements that could make this a five-star app. The skin studio just needs a small tweak to make the helmet/mask hover a bit away from the head. I know nothing about coding apps so I am unaware of the difficulty. I believe it is minor. I, personally, want a commands list. It should contain the command, how it is typed into the command bar, and what it does. Another addition I would like to see is a push notification for updates on the game itself. Maybe, if it's not too much trouble, add news for Xbox and pocket editions. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope to see this already wonderful app improved and my expectations exceeded.

  • 'Official App' needs more attention

For all the prestige that goes with having been branded the 'Official Mincraft App', they could do a better job of getting updates out. I feel they do a good job of giving basic information then redirecting you to the wiki or a video, which is nice, but I feel that when I need quick information about something in the game, this app leaves me wanting for more and I end up having to do research outside the app for simple answers that should be in this app. An example would be when I was looking up information on silverfish. The information given is very lacking and I only really dealt with them for the first time this week. Also the 'seeds' section has about 10 seeds listed that have not been updated in about a year... In my opinion, the Official App title has made the developer complacent in his motivation to impress. It seems his enthusiasm for making this the 'Go to' app for all things Minecraft has petered out a bit.

  • Super great, always usefull

The best thing about this is that it doesn't need an Internet connection, so I can look up recipes and objects even when I don't have wifi.

Of course because of that, things aren't updated as they happen, for instance when the book recipe got changed, until this app was next updated it gave the wrong results. That's a pretty minor problem especially when it's a side effect of working offline, which is great. It's also notable that the app and hence it's information IS updated fairly frequently and fairly quickly as things change in the game. Thanks to the developers for that.

One thing I'd really like to see in a future update would be information about biomes and landmarks- for instance, information about what can be found in a jungle, or what to watch out for in a desert temple. This info is on the wiki, but is in longform and not very accessible on mobile, let alone offline.

Beyond that, this is a great app, and it has a bunch of extra features that will be useful to people. The seed explorer is a cool idea, and the built in skin editor is pretty amazing-although I'd rather do mine on a desktop. The skin editor is also a pretty great way to quickly show off your skin on mobile, which, until mcpe supports skins is kind of a necessary thing.

Long short: thanks, this app is great and keeps getting better, get it.

  • Ok I have a few things to say...

This app is Great! The guide is very nice and very organized and easy! I actually bought the skin created on the app and if u are looking for a good quality skin creator I recommend you buy this one. It is VERY easy to create skins compared to other apps (some don't even have where u can change the shade of the color) You can browse around look at other peoples skin and then if u like it u can download it to your minecraft account or you can change it and then do it! This is where I get all of my best quality skins from. This app is wonderful and I would recommend buying the skin creator if u are looking for one, but to tell the truth I would not recommend buying the server thing, I would much rather going on a website online than that.

  • Overall review for this minecraft IOS app

This app is a Minecrafters most useful tool. Though it costs it is surely worth it. Even if you memorized how to craft everything what about potions and updates? When an update comes out this is the first thing I go to. Take 1.4.2 one of the biggest updates and yet it tells you everything. It also gives you information of the Xbox and IOS devices. Take this for example: The Xbox goes on a different update path it and this app tells you what is there. There's even more Skin studio, seeds lists, and sever lists. The skin studio is nice but it could have some work done. The seeds list isn't the best but it is good there are some good seeds. The sever list could be better but it is okay. Overall I highly recommend this app. I couldn't play minecraft without it

  • A bit rough, but fixable

I'd like to say that this is definitely worth a purchase, but I feel as though it needs a bit of renovation first. For example, mob screenshots can be a bit off, such as the pig (which looks like an amateurish MS Paint edit) and the thumbnail for the Iron Golem (off-model, eyes are too small and ABOVE the nose, where they should be next to it). Considering these problems don't exist on the completely free Minecraft Wiki… Also, the Snow Golem is labeled a "monster", when the Iron Golem is marked as passive. Really, along with wolves and Endermen, they should be under a "Neutral" category. Finally, the textures of certain blocks are a bit old, such as the cobblestone block being of the pre-Beta 1.7 texture and the chest being of the pre-Adventure Update variety. Considering Mojang themselves endorsed this app, it should be of a higher quality than this. Other than that, the app is handy and actually has quite a bit of information per mob/item/etc. So, until some of these things are tweaked, I would say go with the Curse Minecraft Wiki.

  • Great app for Minecraft fans

LOVE this app! Accessing the Wiki when I forget how to make a potion or forget how to craft something is a pain when I am playing the PC version of Minecraft. It’s a bit easier when I am playing the Xbox version but having the app right there on my IPhone is great. It loads fast, is very organized and within seconds I can find what I am looking for. I know people are complaining about the extra charge for the Skin studio, but instead of making a totally separate app for it and charging even more, the extra $2 is worth the convenience of having both tools in one easy to use organized app! And I love being able to see screen shots of the different unique seeds. SO far this is one of my favorite apps. I haven’t (knock on wood) had any problems with it. Will absolutely let my Minecraft friends know about this app!
