Definitely provides relief

I've been trying to buy my first house, and it's easily been the most stressful experience of my life. (Keep in mind that I was a resident of New Orleans at the time of Hurricane Katrina, so I know about life stress.) I've been regularly using brainwave for stress relief, but last week even that had ceased to help. After previewing the samples, I knew this music was what I needed. I would recommend the app to anyone experiencing extreme stress, because it definitely provides relief.

Finally came across this app here

I just have to have music to listen to when I go to sleep. I just can't stand the silence! It drives my wife crazy because the music I have on my playlist sometimes wakes her up in the middle of the night. I primarily have put together a collection of soundtrack music that the "quiet" stuff and more softer pieces...however they sometimes have "bumps" of high energy that can wake you up. So, I've been searching for something that is designed more for those trying to have something to sleep to. You'd be surprised to see that a lot of this "sleep music" is rather annoying and not very good. I finally came across this app here. So far it has been great...no complaints from the wife. Every track is very soft and light with no hidden surprises. I can't really comment on much about the tracks other than that honestly. I guess it is because by the time I hit track two...I'm out like a light!

fall asleep right away

For several weeks, I've been listening this right before bed because during the day I am extremely stressed out trying to run my own business. It used to take me over an hour to fall asleep because my heart was still racing from all of the day's caffeine. Now I fall asleep right away. I'd say the effect is similar to melatonin, except it doesn't mess with your biological clock. Just be sure to refrain from driving after you listen this!

Worked

I used to ran out of medication for anxiety and had to find something to prevent a panic attack while waiting for my prescription to get filled, but Brainwaves app Worked. Follow the instructions and listen about a half an hour and slowly feel the sharp edge of anxiety dull to a manageable low level anxiety.

Got a job last week

Love this app! I started listening to it a couple weeks ago and decided the ultimate test would be to use it to help me chill out before a job interview. Needless to say it got the job done, pun intended. I made it to the 2nd round of interviews and got an offer last week.
I have listened this app when I anticipate getting stressed out (like before a date!) or if I am trying to relax before bed. It helps me relax into a lower frequency brain state that prepares you for sleep. I highly recommend this app.

Seems to work

I generally use this app for a month or more before reviewing. I have tried many natural sleep/relaxation aids, without much luck. This app is the first thing I've tried that seems to work. My sleep is better, I don't wake up as much during the night. I also feel more relaxed throughout the day.

Helped my brain chatter

While I did pay $25 for one of the programs THEN downloaded the app (I found online first), and saw the same program I just bought for less on the app-I do feel some charges are a little expensive compared to some. However, there were many free ones I was also able to download and it truly does help get my mind focused pretty quickly. The only thing I would recommend they improve is when the time is up it just stops. No easing into it-or slot fading-just stops-which is kind of startling. Other than that-I have been enjoying it!

Not good.

I'm not very impressed with this app. Other than usability it lacks many key features. When building a playlist you can only add each item once. It would be so much better to be able to add the same item to a playlist multiple times so that you could fall asleep to it if you wanted to. This is important because none of the tracks in the library are looped.

But most importantly this app is excessively overpriced!! When a single track runs in the double digits of dollars you have to question how they arrived at pricing! Most tracks, even on iTunes are only $.99 ....heck you can buy whole music albums for $12! Clearly the developer doesn't understand volume over premium! And the worst part about it is, the tracks aren't even that great. They have strange composition and some of them are supposed to make you relax but I have sudden strange loud sounds or repetitive piano keep pounding that startle you out of calmness!

And, pay attention to some of the 5 star & 4 star reviews… They seem very rehearsed!!!!

I've tried many of these apps and you can certainly skip this one!

$70 for relaxation sound effects

You simply get 10 minutes of running water with background music? Or pay a lot for each additional sound?

I think the whisper in the background is someone saying "sucker!"

Daily user!

Since I downloaded this app, I use it everyday. I am able to relax at the end of a stressful day.
