Continuing problems with connectivity and functionality
Noted comments by others about how rti also loses connection to wifi frequently. The comments were 2 years old but I still see that regularly now on may 2024. Rti apparently has not addressed the underlying issues. I cannot rely on the rti app to work with any consistency, particularly when trying to control audio sources and speaker zones.
A related issue is that rti’s website does not provide for any meaningful way to provide feedback to the company. The perception is that they do not want to hear criticism of which there would be plenty.
I thoroughly regret going with rti and look forward to replacing it in the future. I would advise others looking at home and Av automation and control software to pass on rti and keep looking.

Huge waste of money
Glitchy and unreliable. A cheap universal remote from Walmart would work better than this app. Terrible experience. I wouldn’t wish this level of frustration on my greatest enemy. Don’t do it.
App is not responsive
RTI panel often requires re configuration. And app is extremely slow. I wish I didn’t purchase the product and had to deal with this app.

Great interface! All my lights, tv, music, cameras and alarm in one easy app.

Intermittent Connection Issues
The RTI Panel software loses it’s connection to the command processor on a regular basis. I ping the command processor and it’s still there. I have to reconfigure the RTI Panel software several times a day for our iPads to work.
We’ve had a stable system for almost three years now and have kept our iPads up to date with the OS and the RTI Panel updates.
This recent problem seems to be due to the updates.
The issue seems common and I can’t find a solution.
I like the system but this seems to be a bug with no viable solutions.

Unable to connect on newer iPad
No issues connecting on my old iPad 2 but trying to access the system via my newer iPad is frustrating! In fact I’m rarely able to connect these days. I have to assume the app developers just don’t keep up with OS updates because Apple stopped releasing updates for the iPad 2 in 2016. Please fix this because my old iPad won’t last forever.

App stopped working
The RTI stopped working on our iPhones 3 days ago, magically started working again today. We have no idea why. So frustrating.
