Disappointed
Been out of dating scene for over 20 years so I was trying online dating for the first time. Heard about eHarmony for a long time since they started. Thinking this will be a safe and trust worthy site to meet someone. Truth and behold, first person I met on here was a scammer. Long story short I got scammed big time. I know it’s also my responsibility to be careful and not trust anyone lightly, but with the website promoting to be safe a secure I would had thought the members on here will be more trustworthy. Especially the subscription fee is not cheap! And ever since the first scammer I met on here, it’s very easy to spot other scammer profiles. Usually good looking Asian female with description that sounds well educated and AI generated. And I am not sure if it is my luck or what, I had two more profile reaching out to me and use the same tactic. Start chatting with you and quickly ask you for personal number and try to get you to chat on WhatsApp. I reported all the profile and pretty much nothing eharmony can do except tell me to be more careful.
Also if you put in any filter, your profile suggestion will be greatly reduced. So far the experience with them is not really enjoyable. Making me double guessing if anyone that trying to chat to me is a scammer. I really hope they can find a better way to verify the authenticity of the members.

Don’t waste your money
eHarmony used to be amazing but now all the likes I get are fake. profiles.Two or three per day profiles. I can’t believe I wasted hundreds of dollars on this. Just get a Bumble account. It’s a lot cheaper and it seems to be a lot less or they’re better at managing don’t waste your money. I’ve reached out to eHarmony support on this and I’ve never heard back.

Probably all female profiles are fake . Sending you likes and tricking you into believing they are real. This app along many other apps are just money scam. You will NEVER find someone alive on it. Scam after scam. Besides that they charging fee practice unfair and fraudulent subscription methods and can cost you hundreds of dollars. Stay away from this

Useless in western Canada
I’m from Saskatchewan and I’ve not only done everything the app asked and spent hours trying to connect with people but I’ve also gotten a premium membership. I can’t stress this enough that the people are very unresponsive and you are not going to get a reasonable amount of people who even see your male profile to generate enough matches never mind get a date from those matches. Come with a $100 000 job or don’t come at all!

Eharmony is a terribly run organization that rips its users off. The policies and procedures of the company are obvious in the lack of active members on the app. They try and get payment upfront, because they know the app does not work. I would recommend any dating app over eharmony.
Terrible App - Not recommended at all
This is the worst dating app I have ever come across. For some bizarre reason all other users profiles are blurred and there is also no option to reply to direct messages unless you are a member, therefore if I wanted to respond I had no other option other than pay for a full membership which is very expensive. I reluctantly joined and unfortunately after using the site for less than 24 hours I noticed the calibre of matches simply wasn’t for me and when I requested to cancel my ongoing membership this was then completely revoked despite already paying for 6 months upfront. This left me out pocket as they refused to offer a refund and mentioned some jargon around T&Cs which is nonsense. I also found the customer service team extremely rude and patronising the team are useless and really unhelpful. I do not recommend this dating app at all. There is also no option for one week or one month memberships which would have been much more affordable.

The worst dating app ever
I have done the mistake that I signed up last year because I was just too curious. The app has very little user so no proper matches and it is impossible to cancel the membership.
They keep bugging me about some charges that I apparently didn’t pay. It is awful and you stay away from those pricks!

Forceful with No Guarantee
They force a long-term Subscription on you, Not even offering a free trial to see if it’s for you or not. Ive now tried every dating app and because E-Harmony does not offer month to month or new user free trials they are the worst in this platform.
Ive come to the sad conclusion that these dating platform's are in it for profit and self gain, capitalizing on the loneliness, feelings of other individuals. I guess they did not get the memo about the worlds monetary inflation.. The only thing to do is get out more, find public outlets and engage woman and the like, socially, friends or otherwise. Which is fine by me, rather do that then support corporate greed.
On other platforms I also encountered a bad case of Superficiality, at least on the Woman's side, you have woman that basically flash you. Showcasing what their about (Their Twins).. As a woman you should be more than that.. Most woman have unrealistic high expectations like “If you cant make me laugh all the time” or they want to date someone that looks like Chris Hemsworth. They leave you with Ultimatum’s.. while realistically you wont ever find a perfect partner. Im sure these poor traits exist on the men’s side as well but from what I've seen most of these woman are not looking for something real and long term and only seek validation. Well thats fine, but you can do that any place, Just not on my dime..

Excellent form of safely meeting our possible soulmate
I have only just recently joined EHarmony and I love the idea of checking out who checked my profile and deleting those I do not want to view again and waste my time . I love the ideas of not being pressured by anyone to give my details , the detailed information of the personality traits of a person and their religion preference . I just text them and see how far they will be interested to share information by texting . No one has asked my number yet and gives me the comfort that hopefully this will be the safest way to meet my soulmate. Thank you so much EHarmony for giving us women the confidence that we can be protected and it is all up to us now to find our most compatible match . 💖🥰🌹

Worst experience with any dating app ever
I am so displeased with my experience with eharmony. I’ve used many different dating apps and thought I’d give this one a try because it promises better matches. I used it for one day and decided it is not for me. The quality of my match options were not good - worse than the free apps. I reached out to cancel my subscription within 1 day of signing up and was told the fine print excluded my state from their 3 day cancellation policy. They told me they don’t guarantee better matches than other sites which is funny since it says on their website they have the “highest quality dating pool” and told me my poor quality matches were my own fault because of the settings I chose. I literally just had it filtered to people 30-40 kind of near where I live. I tried talking to someone with whom I had the highest match score but it was as far from a good fit as it possibly could have been. He ended up sending me over 100 vulgar sexual images, harassing and threatening messages when I politely turned him down and eharmony has not responded to any of my attempts to contact them about the situation. I absolutely do not recommend using them in any capacity. They are underhanded and do not care about the experience or safety of their users.
