I could not find a way to toggle the app into English. I am traveling in Asia so maybe it thinks I should already know Chinese - not sure. You should be able to toggle language right from the Home Screen. Absolutely useless unless you know Chinese.TimeTravelWarrior

Very difficult to navigate if you need to reset the password,eg,it doesn't give clear instructions and the company is impossible to contact from Ukswimmer with PD
App only in Chinese??
I have downloaded the app but only seems to be in Chinese. Tried to change the language using google translator but I cannot seem to find the language option. If there is an option to change language it should be much easier to find.Luispest81

Follow instructions below to use in English…
So not easy for non-chinese speaking clients, and could be easier to use. Just blundered through myself quite easily, got the English version and then logged in to het my flight details up and everything works great now i can read it!
FIRSTLY: Go to the China Southern website and sign up for the website, and I suggest their Pearl rewards too! Then come back to the app!
- Open app.
- Click the right side red button. (Probably agreeing to terms conditions?) and wait for next page to load. Patience!
- Next page, click on Globe symbol top left, and you should get a drop down.
- choose your country (United Kingdom for me).
- choose your language (English for me).
(If you have already signed up on their website…)
Now click login.
Enter your email address, then your last name, then your first name/s.
Then your password.
Then the captcha..
If you get to a the next page it looks like you haven’t signed in. DON’T PANIC!
Scroll down until you see the CHECK IN link & click it…
Now Enter your airline reference number. (This should be on your flight confirmation from your agent. THIS IS NOT YOUR AGENTS REFERENCE!)
Now enter your last name & then your first name/s and confirm..
Patience.
Your booking should now be on your app screen!

No English, Not Accepting Foreign Names
App not international friendly. No English version. Foreigners who try to authenticate their real name will meet incredible frustration. Overall useless app. Learn your lesson from Air China!!Drewshifu

The app is so annoying. It’s all Chinese and so hard for me to change it to English even tho my location is NZUkirt
