Good but not great
The tuner and the idea itself is awesome.
I guess the app is the just ok part.
I have had 0 problems. And it is nice to have the additional features if I wish to use them ( gauges, performance test, data logging, holds up to 10 tunes, etc)
I guess if you had some more parameters for gauges it would be cool as the one reviewer below wanted one back that was there on an earlier version. And iPhone 5 support for the larger screen would be nice.
Just make sure you pair your car and the device, load the tune , and use the gauges and performance test if wish. Haven't used the performance test but I've done the gauges and it is cool.Show lessjacabc20
Lock up city
Open the app... "Not paired with device" error. It is paired. Now the software locks up. Reboot the phone. Open the app and 30 seconds later it asks you to check if the software is up to date. You check and it is up to date. Now you can't get off the screen forcing another reboot. Open the app and try to fiddle with the gauges and it locks up again! Tried to load a custom tune... "Not paired with device" error... Again. Reboot. Got the tune to load... Then gave me an error and said the vehicle wasn't supported. Dealer is returning it for the X3. Very disappointing because the phone has so much potential.Show lessT&D1w
Bring back Trans temp for 6.0
I just got my iPad so I could have more than 3 gauges. Now they took off the transmission temperature gauge for 6.0 powerstroke diesel. Please put it back and I'll gladly give you 5 stars. The main ones for me are Trans temp, oil temp, coolant temp, exhaust temp (have probe installed and connected to itsx) and film voltage. The rest are useless to me.Show lessAcouey

I bought a TSXi module for my 2012 Ford F150 5.0 and it did not work out of the box. It won't work as they have software issues with Apple and have ETA on a fix. Nowhere on their website does it state they are having software to hardware issues. If you purchase a unit expect no connection issues. If does connect don't trust programming your vehicle as it may leave you dead in the water. Looking back probably should have bought a regular programmer. Not impressed their website doesn't state the current issues. 1 Star because I have no idea if it will work!!!Show less*Brockstar*

Hate this product. The device won't stayed connected to my phone long enough for it to download the entire tune. it always reads tune error 0xFF when I'm done. right now my truck is stuck in performance and I can't get it out and have to tow a big trailer this weekend. Thanks for releasing a horrible product that isn't ready to be on the market yet SCT. Maybe with a little more research you will get it right. Good, but...
I added this tuner the same day I installed a turbo-back MBRP 4" exhaust to my 2006 PowerStroke and was very pleased with the results of the tunes. The 50hp & 65hp Tow-tunes are great for pulling my 20ft enclosed trailer, and the Street & Performance tunes are...FUN! The main thing I wanted the iTSX for is the ability to have gauges on my iPhone & iPad; primarily oil & coolant temps. It's a very cool feature. BUT... This module/app frustrates me beyond belief every single day. I have to hold the reset button in on the module and unplug it from the OBD port and plug it back in along with telling my iPad or iPhone to "forget" the device and then pair it back up again just to be able to open the app! I just want to be able to get in my truck, have my device pair up, turn on the gauge-display feature and go to work. It works correctly maybe two mornings a week. Also, when running the gauges on my display and a text/call comes in that I need to take, I HAVE to terminate the app completely and restart it and load the gauge display screen all over again when I'm done with the call. Frustrating. If I didn't have to jump through all these hoops just to use it how it's meant to be used I think this would be the greatest tuner device on the market because when it's functioning it is AWESOME. Holy power boost!
Great tuner, the canned tunes make tons of power for my 03 6.0. The iPad gauges are really easy to read and let me monitor lots of important parameters. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that when you turn the truck on you have to exit the program and restart it every time to get the gauges to work. If they fixed it so that I could just get in and go without restarting the program every time it would be perfectShow lessBSG Customs

Just bought one and found it very easy to use, the screen shots you can view in real time is excellent. Called SCT Tech and found a new update is coming that allows me to email my performance charts to my dealer in real time, awesome

This is a great product that is new and exciting but not perfect yet
This a very exciting product that is new and still in its toddler stages. The product does work, i have 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0 Diesel 4x4 LTD that creates just crazy power with this product. Their are issues, it showed my truck as unsupported. I call the techs at SCT very friendly and helpful, and yes in the current version my doggle was not loaded for my truck, but they sent me the files as custom tunes until they get an update to remedy the issue. Had an issue with one of the files loading to the APP, called the tech he got me straightened out. Both calls i was on hold for the tech no more than 5 min. The product is working great, the performance tune i can run along at 60 and put my foot down and break the tires loose from the road (scary at first). The EGR delete is an issue that is not working in the current version and will be addressed in the next update. Make sure you go to the info tab while connected to the doggle and update the firmware, that is the update app error that you get at first. We need to comprehend the scope of rolling out a new product and getting the bugs out of it. We need to help bring issues we have to them in a constructive manner so they have all the info the need to make it the product we all want it to be. I think this is going to be an awsome tool when they get the bugs work out and i am excited to see it evolve in the future updates. I gave it a 4 star because the idea is awsome but their is some work to do to get it to perfect. Good work SCTShow lessDeath78
