Nearly unusuable with ads interrupting every few taps
Version 8.29.0 updated and still bugged and sluggish
I honestly do wonder how updates , don’t make the bugs go away .
The app is still sluggish and slow . Text alerts show , when there are no messages . And so many spammers & cat fishing .
Horney do react fast after reporting scammers , I have to say that . But speed and reliability should be improved .
Oh , one last thing: in
the posting a moment , the picture gets cropped too much , it takes away from the submitted photo quality.

Bots, Bots and $ hunt
This app is home to over a million chatbots. If you have the patience to get through them, there are scores of foreigners on the hunt for American husbands. The app also cannot decide whether it is social media or connections; you have a primary inbox and then some other inbox and either can have messages you may or may not know about but as you check them you are greeted with an ad every other message. This could be why the chatbots are deployed. Rather pathetic and if you expect it to deliver 😜 other ways 😜 the path through drivel is a loooooong road to ho.

Tons of scammers
I am finding a lot of scammers from russia,and Africa using the app to pretend to be someone else. They try to get you on telegram and another app. They ask you for either you’re email or user name. When you tell them your fine on here they snub you or stop talking. There is no way to contact the app support or anyone unless you “report” them. If your not familiar with scams be cautious. If they are not local be cautious again. Watch out for VPN users as they are normally not near you.

Verified profile
You keep updating the app saying that you now have verified profiles. However, what you never mentioned is that you want us to pay for this privilege. Every other application, you can verify yourself for free. What has happened to Hornet? You have got rid of all your moderators, and now the newsfeed is a constant stream of escorts, people selling absolutely everything, nude photographs etc. You are making it worse for the User not better.

Going to the Dogs
I’m afraid the app used to be responsible and actually quite good. Like so many in this genre they become utterly ineffectual at weeding out persistent fake profilers mining personal details. The only saving grace being these fraudsters are so brainless, repetitive and impatient with their ‘patter’ they give themselves away very quickly. If not the multiple use of photos of the same person active in several different profiles in the same area all at once. All this should be simple to detect, whether a ‘bot’ or a poorly paid human, the fact that it isn’t now speaks volumes Hornet. Why anyone would pay for these apps is beyond my comprehension.

Best app ever
I have been on this app for a very long time and I do have to say that I had meet a lot of great people on here from all over the world and made lots of friends on this app as well. I personally would recommend this app 100% to all my friends and family.
Used to be four stars: no more.
Hornet has really gone downhill in the past couple of years. The ads are much much longer, more frequent, and sometimes freeze up the whole site. I am a long time Hornet user but I think I will look elsewhere now.

App great, although irrelevant ads spoil entire experience
App is great although recent changes to the Follow button makes it uncertain whether you are following or unfollowing someone. The old button much better. The constant ads every 45seconds or 2 swipes really kills the experience. i understand the need to support app with ads but offering things that people will buy. the games they offer does anyone ever buy any?? seem so irrelevant to the app. several ads hang the app entirely and only way forward is to completely close app and restart often losing the person or profile you wanted to contact in the process.
