App itself is good, but needs to be optimized with iPhone X, XR, XS max
The app itself is good and even though i don’t really think the interface is that great, it still works and is not complicated. However, recently upgrading from my iPhone 6 to iPhone XR I discovered that there were black bars on the top and bottom of my phone meaning they still haven’t optimized it for any iPhone that has the Notch. The first phone with the notch which is the iPhone X already came out 2 years ago which means that they’ve had about a year but still haven’t optimized it with iPhones that have notches. Need to work out bugs in app
Wanted to change the selected lunch item after ordering. Cancelling initially appears to work but continues to show up prohibiting selection of replacement lunch. There should be a 2 step confirmation when ordering so that a user can select lunches for more than one day, review list of selected items before “placing ordering”. Right now there is only an “Order Lunch” button instead of typical “Add to Cart” button. This can lead to many accidental orders which even if you cancel it doesn’t refund money back to you but supposedly credits for future orders.Show lessSensitiveEars

The worst app I have ever used ! I want to cancel my account based on the app and their website . Once your account is created , there isn’t a clear way to figure out if the meal you have just paid for is going to the right school ! Complete waste of my time . Parts of the App Not Working
Tried multiple times to cancel and replace the meal but Unsuccessful. Could not cancel meal even when it was over a week into the future. Even when it says cancel, it is not really cancelled because I could not order a different lunch.mingtown
Okay for ordering, but crashes way too much
Even after they “fixed” the crashing problem the app still crashes on my phone two or three times before I can actually use it.Fluffleby
Not intuitive at all
It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to use this app. You have to look for three hard to find icons on the bottom of the screen to use it. The home screen shows images that are useless instead of a calendar which is what the browser based site shows. You also can’t see your balance while ordering.Show lessBobert J
Good app but lunch not guaranteed
App makes it easy to order lunch but...
If your order and your child doesn't receive lunch, it's a problem for your child on the day (backup lunch has been scrapped).
Additionally Choicelunch will not refund, instead they will refer you to the local school volunteers.

Latest updates are horrible
I'm so disappointed in changes recently made to the app. I have to now "preload" money and can't pay as I go which is ridiculous. Also had no idea if something was actually ordered or not as there is no checkout function or follow up email. I also had to go through the order process 3 times to get it to take for one of my children. The app doesn't want to recognize that you may be ordering for multiple kids. And the lunch choices are dismal. Why do they all have to be so frou frou? What happened to giving little kids the option of chicken tenders, corn dogs or Mac n cheese? My elementary school kids don't want Chana masala. I'm very disappointed in the new updates and forced prepayment.Show lessmamacoreenie
Excellent interface!
This is very easy to use and super convenient. I wish I could change lunches on the view labeled "My lunches" so I could see what else I ordered that week before I make the change. Now I have to toggle back and forth which adds more time. But overall this is a terrific app.P.Smith.13
Forgets lunches constantly
The app is great and easy to use, but the quality of service is terrible. They have forgotten lunches multiple times. Apparently they have no control and process on how the lunches are delivered in school.
Not worth using if they can’t reliably deliver what’s ordered. I wish the school had other options other than Choicelunch :(Show lessdigibomber
