Accounts do not load since last update

The ESL app is excellent—the best banking app by far. However, one star off because since ever the last update, the main page no longer loads. It just churns. The only way to get the main page to appear is to tap off of it and then back on. I have to tap on a different page, such as Transfers or Pay. After doing that I can go back to Accounts and the page loads. This is a bug. Please address this issue.

ESL APP

The software still does not work. I cannot see any of my transactions on my Visa card or my dividends. Whenever I try to view my transactions on the Internet most of the screen is blocked by logos in the actual space to read what’s important is only about an inch and a half to 2 inches high. The scrolling does not work well at all. It causes the transactions to disappear. This may be the worst Software ever written. It’s been six months And you have not fixed anything at all.

Not bad, missing certain things on iPad though.

For the entire time I’ve used it, the ESL app is pretty reliable. I do have one major issue with it though, on iPhone there’s a “CardHub” feature that you can use to check the status of and pay off credit card bills, this works perfectly on iPhone, but I notice it’s completely missing from iPads, the credit card option isn’t even there in the “More” section where it is on iPhone and clicking the view your transactions from the accounts section gives an error for “An error occurred when starting CardHub”. It would be really convenient if I could view and access this content from the bigger iPad screen, which is why I can only give this app a 4 of 5 for now, if they’d just add or fix CardHub on iPadOS this would be an easy 5 stars.

Great bank, horrible app

Never had issues with them in the past, and been with them my entire life just about. Experience in bank is friendly, but I have to ask: who is designing these apps?? I used to cash checks in the app for school a few times a week before covid hit, even cashed some during covid, had issues saying “the size is different, the edges can’t be seen (even though they’re clearly visible)”, but in the past I’d eventually get it. This latest update, same issues but worse. Took at least 40-50 tries to get it to cash in app, only to hit submit and get an error message with no explanation of why there was an error. Had to drive to my local ESL ATM just to cash it. You hire fantastic people for face-to-face banking, I’ll give you props for that. But whoever you hired for your apps, that entire staff should be replaced with people who can actually build a user friendly app. Harsh I know, but man this app gets worse with every update! Again, your people in bank get 5 stars, phenomenal staff, but your app is just the absolute worst!

Not terrible

The convenience of being able to deposit checks is a pretty awesome thing for us night shift workers, however the occasional issue with image processing is kind of annoying, I don’t appreciate having to retake the image 6 times because the system thinks there’s a size difference between front and back, or it couldn’t figure out all the markings on the check.

Update to mobile deposit is TERRIBLE

Please fix the update to the mobile deposit feature! It took me longer to deposit a check via the mobile app than it would have to drive to the bank and deposit in person. And still it is “under review”. Please fix this. I had to take SO MANY pics of the check and still to not be able to get it right. At one point it said it couldn’t read the numbers on the bottom of the check when the numbers were CLEARLY there. THEN it said the size of the check was bigger on the front than the back- same check. Same size.

One of the easiest apps

The ESL app has been super easy to understand and navigate, and I especially love all of the options available to you right through the app including locking your cards to avoid transactions going through, or re ordering debit cards when they’ve been misplaced. You can even upload documents such as updated licenses or proof of address documents. It’s great.

I start with 3 different banks and now it’s only ESL for me it’s the only bank that doesn’t discriminate and literally wants what’s best for you excellent customer service and support if you want to be financially secure bring you money to them that will definitely make you knowledgeable and secure

I have only been with 2 banks, in the beginning I used Five Star, I look back and realize what a mistake that was, I have been with ESL for quite a bit now and I am glad I made that move. Customer service is amazing, the app is amazing, everything in general is amazing. Thank you for the best banking experience.
