Today is 9 July 2024. I paid for my year subscription to RW+ on 2 July 2024. As of today, my account still says “pending” and I cannot access articles. I’ve also updated my mailing address several times, which is not the same as my billing address, but my account keep defaulting back to my billing address as my mailing address. I have no idea if I’m even going to receive my print subscription.
When I try to log in to the RW app, I either get a “login in successful” followed by an immediate prompt to subscribe or I get a “something went wrong” pop-up. I emailed Support and haven’t heard back. This is very frustrating considering I paid for a year and am currently in training so I’d really love to access the material I paid for.
It appears this has been an ongoing issue for more than a year according to reviews. It would be nice if Runner’s World would honor their customer agreement and allow us to have access to the products we paid for. If it was the other way around, if the customer acquired a product without paying for it, we’d be committing theft. I don’t know why these companies aren’t held to the same standard as customers.
