Pointless
I have a booking and an account. I hoped the app would mean I could load it up and use that at check in, but no, ‘manage my booking’ takes me to the website where you can book a ticket, which if I was doing, I wouldn’t have a booking to manage. There is a login button but it’s tantalisingly out of reach at the top of the page, making it unusable. Disappointing that despite similar comments for several years it hasn’t been fixed or removed from the App Store.Show lessginger-marauder
Madness totally useless
Impossible to even log into the account, let alone use it to to view or manage your booking. Surely this could be fixed easily, as the rest of their operation is brilliant. It lets them down badly.Ian383
Literally useless
This app simply does not work, please just delete it so as to not put anyone else through the frustration! DFDS app is very far from perfect but it works, I use it all the time, I decide to try Irish and am faced with this, it really does not encourage me to do business, sorry. Apps are by far the best way for a task like this but it does have to work!Show lesskeithb32
Unable to book via app
I have never been able to book a trip on this app. Someone has to explain to me on how to proceed.
When I try to select the route, every time it crashes!!!

Awful app - cannot book anything
Company is excellent, such a shame their app is just a waste of time; can't
Log in, and will always crash at some point before you can finalise your booking.
Would be interesting to see their statistics on how many booking % they get through their app; shocking in 2024. Would better remove their app from store until they fix it, instead of letting their customers waste their time and likely lose the booking.Show lessMgourmand

The only appropriate review is to use a string of expletives, but since that won't get published I have to bite my tongue.
This so called app beggars belief.
It simply DOES NOT WORK!!!!
Using my iPhone (and yes allegedly it's supposed to by iphone compatible!), the app, downloaded from the app store today (2/1/24) is clearly NOT compatible with an iphone!!!
It takes an age to load, the screen has a 'toolbar of sorts' across the top which obscures basic but essential functions, including the login button, but since this is only visible by dragging the page down, it is IMPOSSIBLE to select login as it bounces back to the top the instant you release and it then disappears behind the 'toolbar' again. There is clearly information extending beyond the edge of an iphone screen which is not viewable. Now I have a lot of time for Irish Ferries as a company, they provide a great service at great prices in my experience, but if your experience was based soley on this app they would never get any business. What makes me mad is that virtually all reviews say the same thing, there are over 110 reviews and this current version has been released for 2 years so clearly someone at Irish Ferries is not looking at the app or it's reviews. Shame on you Irish Ferries. I'm so angry I'll be writing straight to the top to let them know about this crap app. Whovere is responsible for development should be sacked on the spot!!!Show lessApple.....?
Spinning wheel of doom
I’ve had dodgy kebabs work quicker on my bowl movement than this app. Just doesn’t work. When trying to ‘manage my booking’ tab I just get a spinning wheel, which spins for ever. Judging by the comments, it’s been poor for over a year. Leads me to think that Irish Ferries have just given up on it.M Royds
Appalling
The comments on here are bang on. This is a terrible app which is a crying shame from a company that actually provides a really good service. The fact that it hasn’t been updated tells you everything. It is almost impossible to log in (although there is a workaround in these comments by going through the FAQ’s). When you finally get on you can’t then do anything useful. A link to Apple wallet would be logical but it’s non existent. Come on guys. Must do better.Show lessTPC55
Awful
I write apps and this thing is an embarrassment to your brand. I just booked a ferry thinking I could see the ticket and information in the app but it just goes to the booking page and then freezes 😞Me123123
Rubbish
This is utter rubbish. The app simply doesn’t work. It kicks you out of the booking journey for no reason and is completely unreliable. This is a multi million pound company and I’m trying to spend money with you to use your service. Apple need to remove this from the App Store because it’s not an app..!Show lessSJTP111
