Not really functional for the past few weeks
What happened to the app? It used to work perfectly with an option to minimize the window so you can listen and watch the news while using the phone.. now the minimize option is gone and live stream stops for minutes so the app goes basically silent and I have to restart it… I hope they are able to fix this soonShow lessAbbeyI17
Put the time back on the screen.
I watch the new for the weather, traffic updates and to keep track of the time. I love watching KRON 4 news. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is literally the fact that that they removed the time from the tv screen.Vic42009
Same complaint as everyone else
I just want to quietly read the local news, but the app constantly opens videos without being prompted to do so. The video opens and even if you close out the video, the sound of the video keeps playing and the only way to stop it is to either close the app or turn the phone volume all the way down. This is incredibly annoying when you just want to read some news. I wish the developers cared about this, but it appears they don’t.Show lessnickname-2024
Horrible auto play commercials
I have turned off the auto play of videos in the settings and they still turn on. Is this a way to for the app to get money from ads? They won’t stop playing. A truly horrible experience and they have the most articles locally. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. Until the auto play of videos is fixed, definitely a 1 star or less (if I could) app.Show lessZorboc
While reading an article of news
Disappointing! While reading a news article while scrolling down, it turns black and talking of a different article plays out loud. Kron4 mobile news seem to always has some type of issues when just trying to read one of the articles.not happy w/kron 4
News quality is fine, but app is terrible. Forces video.
This app repeatedly springs open up articles with video, and the only way to get the video to stop is to close out of the app altogether. Sometimes the video springs up when you are midway through reading an article, and there’s no way to read the rest of the article. Video content should be clearly marked, and there should be a way to stop video within the app, or even better, opt out of all video content. There’s a dearth of quality print news in the Bay Area, and I was hoping this app would fill the gap. No such luck. I deleted the app.Show lessFido Dogstoyevsky
Black Screen commercials
Why, when I am scrolling through a news article, does it go to a unseen commercial that I can’t shut off?
I deleted and later reinstalled the app, hoping it was a update thing. Unfortunately I am going to need to delete the app unless this is resolved.Mac94949
Deleting app
It's impossible now to look at an article without sound from some video arbitrarily blaring out. And the constant ads that take me away from the article I'm reading are so annoying. I like the articles but your app gets one star. I was willing to put up with the ads but the blaring sound is it for me. I'm done.Show lesschris7271813
I used to love this app… now too many popups
I used to use this for all of my local news but now there are so many pop-ups I spend most of my time shutting the multiple windows or redirecting back to the News app from Safari (which it forces you to go to). I’m hoping in a future release they allow you to disable the pop-ups. Until then I won’t be using it anymore.Show lessOffleashstudios
Clickbait Notifications
This app regularly sends notifications with story headlines, but the corresponding stories are nowhere to be found when you tap the notification and open the app. Seems as if they’re trying to utilize clickbait to get users to open the app, which is frustrating and a waste of time.Madsmarie
