  • Fun game with minor problems

While the game does start with a few songs and it works fine with that if you have Apple Music and your songs aren’t bought onto your account it just skips the songs as soon as they start. Don’t know if it’s just a problem with my game or not but I hope that there is a solution somewhere. Other then that it is a very good game, just be careful when buying it.

  • Apple Music Issue

Please fix it it doesn’t let me play my downloaded Apple Music songs. It loads them but ends the game right away as if I finished the song but it ever never started...
  • The real deal

I had this one for years and it’s a great way to play a good shooter to your music! I recently spent my first 99 cents on it and it changed the whole game!!!! There is A LOT going on on the screen in hardcore mode!!!! This is a must have free one!
  • Great Game been playing for years

This game is a great one that I play every now and then and it’s always fun. Fun way to listen music and a great visualizer.
  • YES!! 5 STARS!!

Thank you devs for updating the game to 64 bit! I'm so happy we aren't losing this awesome game. I even purchased the golden ship!!! I would love to see a sequel! It's such a fun game!!
  • Good game

It's a pretty good game. I also have the XBOX 360 version too. I'd recommend it!
  • Amazingly addictive

Love the game would be cool if you could use playlists tho
  • Don't see the pattern

Overall a pretty fun game; it makes listening to music more enjoyable. I would recommend. I love the variety of tracks it can be played to, as well as how the ship firing and enemy ship movements are controlled by the energy of a song.

How the enemies appear make less sense. I wish there was some sort of list describing the various enemies and what makes them appear, or more information available on what exactly the triggers that spawn enemies and control their actions are. That would make gameplay much more interesting by allowing players to predict and prepare for what is coming up, and would make the visualization of the music more enjoyable and effective by understanding what components of the music the players are seeing as enemies appear.

Additional modes for different kinds of music, different visualizer modes, perhaps, would also make gameplay more diverse and interesting and would keep me more interested in the game.

  • Almost as good as the PC/Mac version

Brilliant fun, plays almost exactly the same as the PC/Mac version, the twin stick controls are a hell of a lot nicer than I thought they would be and as such do not cause an unnecessary amount of extra difficulty.

My only complaint is that bombs/shields/micro-missiles/ultra-beam power ups are incredibly fiddly and rarely seem to actually want to activate, making them nearly useless as you'll more often fly into enemies trying to activate them than you will save your life with them.
