Difficult to submit repeat practitioners
Won’t let you save practitioners you frequent. You have to search every time for the doctor and it makes it cumbersome. Could be more streamlined
Functional yet could do better
Newly updated application version is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing to look at. However, it lacks other important features like data of coverage -how much left to be used and how much is the limit of each, and it doesn’t store details of your spouse’s other insurance so you have to input manually every time you have to file a claim. Other insurance applications have these important features.

Good but lots to improve
I like how you can view your claim history and submit claims instantly on your phone. However, it’s still quite a nuisance and redundant each time when you have to put in the information of your other insurance provider every time you submit a claim.
On the Manulife app, it already keeps a log of the health provider (ie chiropractor) and other insurance information so I don’t have to retype their name/birthday every time.
Moreover, I wish you could see balances of your categories (again, in the Manulife app, it’s possible)

Cumbersome
This app used to pre-populate with policy and ID numbers if my spouse for shared plan expenses. It no longer does that. It forces me to enter that information each time, which is I nconvenient and annoying.
Easy to use
It is really easy to use to submit a claim. All very straight forward. I was very pleased with how it is so easy to use and not complicated .
Equitable Makes Everything Difficult
The app does not save previous practitioners. When I am typing my birthdate into the app for primary benefits info the scroll is awful. This is spousal benefits for myself, and they make you submit more info then other companies we have experience with. Also, no direct billing for spousal claims. I need to show that I have exhausted my primary benefits first, they make this process very difficult. All around I do not recommend equitable if you have a choice.

Could be better
When I submit a reoccurring claims like weekly visits of my physiotherapist, I have to repeated put in COB info like my husband’s name and date of birth. It doesn’t remember that at all. Also it doesn’t remember the recent practioners to choose from.
Good app and quick response times
One improvement would be to add the select file option when uploading a receipt
Not bad… but missing features
I can’t view any my remaining balances of coverage… I just have to guess or keep submitting until I run out.
