Complicated to use
Have to repeat import all the info again and again and again, and harder to claim the other part, not like other insurance company.
Abandoned, mostly useless
Despite the update notes about a “new expression” of core beliefs, whatever that means, this is still the same old clunky app with terrible UX. The app is okay for browsing claims, but that’s it. The main reason it’s useless is that you can only upload photos, not files. 100% of the receipts I need to submit for claims are digital files, but this app only lets you upload from your camera roll; this makes it pointless to use. Customer service for the app is slow and unhelpful — it took months to get a coherent reply from rep after rep who didn’t even understand how the app works at a basic level. And it hasn’t been meaningfully updated in over two years. Not to mention that the UX itself is dated and confusing.

Difficult to submit claim
Not as easy as Greenshield.

Easy to maneuver through claim process and information entry;
Frustrating that there is no allowance for an ‘annual’ statement claim - each appointment needed to be entered individually.

Not enough info
While the app is easy to navigate there is no options for adding notes or more receipts etc. You can’t manually add your own doctor and if the info isn’t right you will be rejected and have to resubmit. If you need a doctors note for coverage ,that isn’t mentioned either so you again will be rejected (after what is usually 3 weeks) and have to resubmit. It’s an unnecessary hassle I have only experienced with this company.

Claims aren’t submitted
At least 4 times now I have submitted my claim and it shows as successfully uploaded and after a few days check and no claim is there.
Wish I didn’t have to redo all the name etc
App isn’t bad but I wish it had options to save practitioners or make another claim under the same person instead of having to fill in every field each time for every member of my family. Very time consuming.
Good and could improve
This app makes it much easier to submit claims. It doesn’t let me view images of previous claims which would really help in confirming what claims have already been made.
Not as easy as filing claim on website
It only allows you to attach documents from photo album. It needs to also allow you to upload documents from cloud such as Apple files, Dropbox, etc. As a member filing a claim for my wife it also asked for my Equitable policy and certificate info. It should auto fill that info into the claim since I am logged into the app using that same info.
