Frequently wrong
When I first downloaded this app before Covid, you could rely on it almost to the second as a great way of getting around town. For the past few years though not only are the adverts irritating and frequent but also for example tonight it says my bus was six minutes away got to the end of the street and it passed. Unreliable.

Fantastic App for Tourists
We’ve used this app for local buses from Heathrow airport and to Windsor in the past 24 hrs since our arrival, and found it very user friendly, with accurate timetables.
Missed buses because of pop-up app ads
Good app when it’s not spontaneously popping up games that you can’t escape from until you can close them. Missed several buses just as games popped up. Won’t use it again. TfL Go much better.

Every single time I go to the screen, I see how many pounds you have to get for premium I want it free free you know like free for money you know please can you be free and like please? Can you be free one reason if I go to other one and it’s the same problem. Just have a new update like collect and then bus coming up and then it goes into the screen and then I can see the best the farthest I have to look up on Google to see bus and weird, so you make this game premium free

Good but too many long ads!
While I fully understand the need for ads with a free app version I do have to take issue with the length of most of these here. The overly long ads totally get in the way of the bus information that one is trying to ascertain and the developers are obviously doing this to get people to upgrade. It is, however, absolutely to the detriment of the free app experience!

The ads stop it from working
This used to be so good. But now the ads (all games) are very long. I don't want to wait several minutes in the freezing cold with an even more freezing wind before knowing whether to wait at the bus stop I'm at or to move to another bus stop for a different bus. Even worse, an ad is now insisting that I play the game, "How old is your brain"? So the ad has broken the app. I'll have to delete it then reinstall it. This is the pits. I'm now going to use another app that actually works. Let us know please when it's been mended

Hi, The full screen ads should only run for a few seconds before you are able to close them. Adverts, and subscriptions are needed to fund the development of the app. If you see an ad not behaving in this way please screenshot it and send it to support@mapway.com Regards Mapway Support
Don’t use this app
This may be the worst app I have ever had the misfortune of using. I don’t usually write horrible reviews, in fact this is my first, but this app has wasted hours of my life at this point.
Not only does the app track buses that don’t exist leaving you standing at bus stops waiting for ages at a time, but it also misses buses that are actually arriving leaving you missing buses you easily could’ve made.
Along with this you cannot use the app for more than 20 seconds without being interrupted by a long and annoying advert which is so frustrating when you want information quickly. Wish I could give less than 1 star.
Seriously walk to the bus stop and hope your bus is there when you are and save the battery and screen time.

Quite handy and new feature added
Have used it more often recently. Quite handy generally if you commute a lot. Also saw they have a new shopping feature. Coupons popping up, will use it if I’m gonna buy anything

Loyal customer for a few years with a complaint
I’ve been enjoying this app for quite a while now. I have even bought the pod version that’s how useful I find it however it’s been a few weeks now that the app seems not to be providing accuracy in one of my bus routes the 405 from Croydon to Redhill. Not sure what the reason is but while the app doesn’t show times available or even 20 mints City mapper seems to have the information synchronised.
Please could you kindly look into this specific route? Something is not working. Thank you

Rapidly becoming a predominantly ad-serving platform with minor bus times feature
The use interface is clunky, often unintuitive and poorly connected across its features, making it at times infuriating to use. It's a shame because at other times it can be a godsend.
However, the regularity and length of the ads being served - often more or less immediately upon launching the app before providing any functionality - is getting more than a bit silly now.
