Are you ready to quit smoking for good? If you’re struggling to stop, QuitNow is the perfect companion for you.
Let’s face it: you already know that smoking is harmful to your health. Despite this awareness, many people find it difficult to quit. So, why should you take the leap? By quitting smoking, you enhance the quality and length of your own life and positively impact the lives of those around you. A great first step towards your smoke-free journey is downloading QuitNow, specially made for iPhone and iPad.
QuitNow is a proven app designed to motivate and support you on your path to quitting smoking. It helps you visualize your progress and keeps you engaged by focusing on four essential areas:
1. Your Ex-Smoker Status
When you quit smoking, the focus should be on your journey. Remember the day you made the decision to quit and track your success: how many smoke-free days you've achieved, how much money you've saved, and how many cigarettes you’ve avoided.
2. Achievements: Your Quit Motivations
Just like any task in life, quitting smoking is easier when you break it down into manageable steps. QuitNow offers 70 personalized goals based on the cigarettes you've avoided, the days since your last cigarette, and the money you’ve saved. You’ll start celebrating your milestones from day one!
3. Community: The Ex-Smokers Chat
Surrounding yourself with support is key when quitting smoking. QuitNow provides a chat room filled with individuals who, like you, have said goodbye to tobacco. Connecting with fellow non-smokers will make your journey smoother and more enjoyable.
4. Your Ex-Smoker Health
QuitNow gives you access to a comprehensive list of health indicators, showing how your body improves day by day. These indicators are based on World Health Organization guidelines, and we update them as new information becomes available.
But that’s not all! There are additional features in the preferences section to further assist you on your journey to quitting smoking:
- Frequently Asked Questions: We’ve gathered helpful tips for quitting smoking, but we understand that knowing where to start can be overwhelming. Many quitters turn to the internet for advice, but unfortunately, there’s a lot of misinformation out there. That’s why we’ve researched the World Health Organization archives to provide you with credible findings and conclusions. In the FAQ section, you’ll find answers to all your questions about quitting smoking.
- The QuitNow AI: If you have unique questions that aren’t covered in the FAQ, don’t hesitate to ask our AI! It’s been trained to handle those specific queries. If it can’t provide a satisfactory answer, it will reach out to the QuitNow team, ensuring it learns the best responses for you. And yes, all AI responses come from WHO archives, just like our FAQ tips.
- Books to Quit Smoking: Learning effective techniques can make your journey to quitting much easier. You’ll often find discussions about helpful books in the chat, and we’ve conducted research to identify the most popular titles that can genuinely assist you in quitting for good.
Do you have ideas to make QuitNow even better? We’d love to hear from you at ios@fewlaps.com.

What's New in QuitNow!
10.5.0
December 28, 2024
Welcome to QuitNow version 10.5.0! We've made some visual improvements to the buddies screen and fixed some image positioning issues to enhance your experience. As always, we're committed to helping you on your journey to quit smoking. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback at feedback@quitnow.app. Keep up the great work, quitters!
I’m coming up on 9 years without smoking a cigarette. Make no mistake, this app did nothing to help me, but I’ve been using it to keep track of my quit date and how much money I’ve saved. I used the “free” option of this app, because it would be stupid to pay for an “upgrade” and pay a monthly subscription, to keep track of a quit date! Now, the app tries to bully you into paying for the subscription. I don’t do subscriptions of any kind and never will! There are other apps that are free that do the same thing. Do yourself a favor, save money every month and use one of those! And good luck on quitting nicotine!
