Blank books
Will not display any pages in any books I check out on my Apple iPad. Tried reinstalling the app but nothing so this is a worthless appnradmaker
Useless
Starting to suspect you’re not actually allowed to read on mobile. Was a pain in the *** to even get logged in and now whenever I try to “redownload” my books it says sorry, data doesn’t match. Wish I could say I even knew how to delete my account and info from it.
Use Overdrive if you can. I only wasted the time I did here because for the first time ever my library didn’t have the book I wanted, and I was trying out an online e-card for my state to find it.Show lessSad_panda7
Deeply Flawed
So many issues with this app. It never saves any login info, so you have to login fresh through a multi-step process every time you open it. Books sometimes don’t download, even when they’re checked out. The only option is to “redownload,” which also doesn’t work. There is no way to contact the developer to report issues or resolve them, so you just can’t read the book. App frequently loads oddly or extremely slowly. It’s a buggy mess.Show lessBenedict33
Has never worked
Every time I get lured into trying Freereading it sends me in circles and wastes my time. I have never been able to read anything using this app or library service. Useless and frustrating.Not A. Secure
Terrible
Completely unusable. I tried computer, iPad (Safari) and this app. Book says it downloads, but there is nowhere to open it to read. The download link takes you to list, the list back to the page to download in an endless circle. Also tied to Adobe Digital Editions, which is overly complicated and intrusive. I’m a web designer with 20 years of experience, so not a novice to digital media. Overdrive ebooks work seamlessly, and puts this service to shame.Show lessAv8t0r

Waste of time
Trying to get books and read them on this app is really hit or miss. Almost a complete waste of time. Book was downloaded but couldn’t access it to read on app. Tried everything including redownloading but still couldn’t access the book.Logger01
No documentation, completely buggy
I’d gladly pay for my library to have an app that functions. This one is so frustrating to use. Nine times out of ten, no book appears on your “library” screen after downloading. You’re in an endless loop. There is no documentation for the app, either. A few libraries have instructions on their websites, but there no way to troubleshoot. The process to download then REdownload in order to add a book to my current library is cumbersome and does not always work. I am currently attempting to read Raylan: a Novel but cannot get the system to work. Any help would be appreciated.GSCincy
