Fun, foiling, but flawed
Definitely a fun game that's worth downloading, and for that it gets at least 3/5 stars. It's difficult, it's enjoyable, and it's the only semi-turn-based RPG game that I've ever guarded in, but it has obvious flaws. For that, it gets one extra star. You can get 'infinite money' from buying ingredients to sell overnight, but considering the pseudo pressure of in-game time, you'd only do that if you didn't care for scores. That's a 'meh' for the score. So far, the only better equips I've seen (early-ish game here) have been in-game purchases, but that's very acceptable considering the mechanics of the game.Show lessKetchi'

Great game and concept, but needs refining
This is a novel and interesting game, with lots of old skool RPG elements.
But the controls are not good. In 'Follow Touch' mode, it should also let you click a person and you can walk up to them. At the moment it just beeps because the person is not a valid tile you can stand on.. needs more attention to detail
I'd like to see the 'food' menu made more usable, since that is the whole focus of the game after all.
Its hard to see which dishes you haven't cooked before, with lots of menus to wade through to perform the simplest of tasks
Finally the AI battle mode should be improved so the AI uses spells and buffs.
For the casual gamer the battles can get very repetitive, but using Auto-Battle mode you often lose because the AI will only perform basic attacks for you.Show lessCarpii
Neat little game
Of the hundreds of purchases I have made on the iphone, I have been motivated to review very few. This is one such game as it has entertained me for many hours already. It misses out on five stars due to its very stop/start difficulty - no smooth progression - and the lack of autosave which almost put me off playing after my first death when I discovered that there was no save at all and I had to restart!Show lessNZSteel
Brilliant!
I am absolutely in love with this game. Reminds me a bit of recettear for pc. It is a bit buggy in some places. For example it means tell you what are the necessary sales for the next rank, but it is blank. Not something that bothers you too much. As a whole it is great.ZiiAQua

This is an amazing game, i love the gameplay style and the old-fashioned graphics. But will there be updates in the future? Because the low number of dungeons is pretty much the only complaint I have with this gameVictoryius

Good fun game with plenty of content. I'd like to be able to travel to a dungeon and town each day, plus sometimes suspending the app results in it restarting on next load so I've had to go back to old saves a couple of times.Tubbygaijib

This is an amazing game, not to mention its only 99 cents. You honestly can't beat that. The game is actually worth 4 or 5 times more than they are charging for it. I've probably put around 50 hours into it and I'm guessing I'm about 2/3 through the game. For the people who have said there's no depth to the game...what a crock! There are dozens of cut scenes and surprises, not to mention tons of secrets to discover. If the game feels too repetitive to you, then you are doing something wrong. Also, just a side note, the fights are actually very challenging if you are doing the dungeons close to your level. I have died many times and either had to start the dungeon over or teleport out early to spare my progress. Obviously if you are repeating low level dungeons, they are going to be easy. That's the whole reason that they even put in an auto fighting feature in the first place. I truly wish there were more games like this available in the app store.Show lessLisa8419
